Cool…thought Goldy was Mospeada Cyclone 😂 Hmmmm…that next sneak peak I assume it’s ChoRyuJin I find it funny that as soon as Pose+ winded up for a Chouryujin of their own,Bandai was like "you thought we forgot!?!?!".

I thought the same thing about their upcoming SOC Chouryujin timing. But I wonder how the licensing works in Japan? Two companies can make the same character and release around the same time?

There is no limit to selling licensing rights unless someone pays for exclusive rights. Sunrise seems pretty open to everyone making products- Bandai, Pose+ aka ArtStorm, Good Smile Company and Kotobukiya with model kits...

To be fair, it's two different sculpts and markets. Many of my friends and I won't touch the pose+ due to wanting anime accuracy. But I know there are plenty here that rather have that super detailed look. In this case two options is just the best of both worlds

Ohhh that is very cool. I like that most of these licenses aren't exclusive then. I rather have multiple options from various companies. Give me more updated Brave toys! I'm happy these designs are getting some attention now.

Hi everyone, I finally got around to handling this crazily detailed figure. Here's my review. Please click image to jump to the full review. .jpg) Artstorm really knows how to make Super Robots look impressive. Crazy amounts of detailed sculpting and paint, solid articulation and playability. I just wish the SRP was a bit lower. Gold

Somehow I felt fine with most of your negatives, minus the paint easily scratched on some areas and Gaigar's wrist connection, and maybe GGG's neck is indeed a little short. The Galeon tail does sit funny, because it doesn't secure when fully tugged in. It moves around a little when you lift the GGG by its crouch and has to re-adjust the tail very often. I actually find SOC's articulated fingers and hands way too oversized, and like pretty much all the sculpt changes POSE+ went with. It got my vote for TOTY afterall, small flaws and all.

Just opened mine, and it’s as impressive as everyone says it is. Also, if you’re OK with preowned, you can get this on Mandarake in the 38000-43000 yen range, which makes the price slightly easier to stomach.

There were a couple 45000yen brand new ones just a couple weeks ago, which was below retail price. Don't know about now. I hope people still interested won't sleep on these prices. In a year or two when stock runs out, the price will skyrocket, as this is probably POSE+ best work so far (Baikanfu is on par as well, but the details and sculpt is a lot simpler). I don't think I have a gokin combiner that can pose like this GGG, has this many ratchets, nor has this many details. And my gokin collection is not small.

I was so close to ordering one but restrained myself, since I still have too much on my plate and have the Sentinel Gaogaigar to fulfill my lion chested robot needs. I'm actually hoping for a Pose+ Gaofighgar in the future.

I wonder if the Japanese peeps didn't like this iteration?

I do wonder if Pose+ will actually engineer the shoulders for Chouryujin as opposed to Bandai most likely cheating them with optional parts.
Cause that specific part of the combination is a pain to figure out.

Something doesn't seem right. Goldymarg plus Star Gao parts cost 62480 yen?! That is like on par or more than GGG. While the DX set with everything is 76780 yen? (meaning GGG only makes a 14300 yen difference) That can't be right...

There's this light up and support package that's included in the DX but not the other cheaper set.

But yeah, some clarification would be nice on which set comes would what. It is very odd on the pricing currently. And if Goldymarg is more pricey than GGG, even more weird. Update - upon reading the fine prints more carefully, the DX set indeed does not include GGG. Just Goldy set + LED parts in one package. Damn~! That's expensive! You can get GGG at around 50000yen, but need 70000yen for Goldy and Parts.... Probably the first time a gokin add-on parts set cost more than the main bot, without markup.
