After reading the Babelfish version of the review, I'm thinking those are argueably some of the best-looking Alien figures ever produced despite all the complaining the reviewer does. I'll need to get a set of these if only I'm such a long-time sci-fi geek.

Well, that Japanese guy was right about one thing for sure: that string-of-skulls was hard to tie up! Try tying a knot with what is essentially fishing line.... especially to make only a small loop - it's not the same as tying up a fishing hook...
Anyway - got one of these babies over the weekend at a local shop. It's the "hero" Predator from the movie (the one that survived to the end). He comes with tons of accessories almost all of them chromed bits. Very cool and looks amazing once you get all the bits on him.
Typical complaints tho: Microman stability - his bits fall apart if you're not careful. The head is made up of 4 parts: a "chin and neck" piece that makes up the bottom half of the head, a layer for the dreadlocks (filler), a second layer of dreads (with details), and the face (or mask). It's surprisingly posable considering all that rubbery "hair" that gets in the way.
Unusual stuff: just when I was getting used to normal microman hands, the Predator comes with rubbery fleshy hands. Not too good for holding its multitude of weapons (but doable, again, requiring lots of patience to pose the guy).
Of all the licensed Microman guys "Micro-Action Series" this guy appears the least like a traditional Microman. But I like him. He's got bulk thanks to all the custom parts and doesn't seem as generic as, say, Batman or Gatchaman Ken.

how many aliens you planning to sick on him. As of right now: at least a couple. I picked up the other Predator this weekend and an Alien warrior. The "BMF" Predator from the movie is pretty much identical to the "hero" Predator... no additional comments. But the Alien is pretty cool. Doesn't fall apart as much as the guy complained about in his review. Surprisingly well-balanced. No accessories to speak of (except stuff like eggs, and tiny chestbursters and facehugger minis). I don't care for those... Big complaint: mine has two left hands! Of course this is a QC problem that just had to happen with a Microman who doesn't have alternate hand options. Ugh. Other than that - I like... will need to get a few more of these.
