I wonder how much shipping from AmiAmi on huge products like Dx Voltes? Over a hundred bucks. CDJapan charged me 12300 yen for DX Combattler V back in 2017. |

EMS. I know DHL is usually more expensive but it looks like most retailers like amiami are getting lower shipping rates with DHL nowadays because of the coronavirus pandemic and Japan Post being backed up.

Products 54,520¥ ($508) Shipping 12,300¥ ($115) ( EMS to California) Total paid VAT excluded 66,820¥ So total in today's exchange rate = $623. That's better than any US store so far plus I'd get it a lot sooner. |

Amiami ships fast, but not always the case for N-Y, sometimes N-Y ships even later than American stores.

It is not that any US store would get in stock sooner than Japanese stores, it is N-Y which has issues on getting stock on time or shipping stock on time. |

Looks like the listing at eknightmedia disappeared. I wonder if that means their PO sold out. At $599 with no tax and free shipping, they’re pretty much the lowest right now. Only downside (like with all US retailers) is you’ll have to wait a month after release.

Which American store can ship faster than a Japanese store for a NEW release item? It is not that any US store would get in stock sooner than Japanese stores, it is N-Y which has issues on getting stock on time or shipping stock on time. I've personally never had an issue with N-Y. So for apples-to-apples comparison, below is the DX Combattler thread. It seems like N-Y was actually the first (or one of the first) to ship. I heard many people having issues with N-Y, myself included. I had an order (a SOC, not DX SOC) that was dragged for so long that I had to cancel and get store credits.
Before that incidence, I had good experience with them. So you never know.

Should I be surprised that this has pre-sold out every where? I casually pre ordered this on AJ after I missed out on the the VF-1S Roy. I am glad I did now. I went ahead and grabbed a DX Combattler form Amazon US...that was a little impulsive. Looks like i'll be working some overtime  |

Well if you've gone this far you might as well get DX Mazinger and Great Mazinger if you don't have them already Challenge accepted! Lol I remember seeing DX Great Mazinger for about $380, oh well. If you got $1500, you can get both dx mazingers. Dx mazinger itself is being sold for more than $900. Great can be between $600 to $800 |
