 What the hell's with visible wing slots? along with unnecessary panel lines.  It would look much better without them 100% agreed. Those visible wing slots need to go!! I notice a lot of collectors have the same opinion. I wonder if Bandai would modify the design. |

Don't forget bros, this DX isn't the be all end all purchase for a DX Voltes V. I would not be in the least surprised if Bandai could and would reissue this DX in Respect for Volt in Box colorway. Never say never with Voltes V. Bandai knows we would all volt in for that one too.  |

For some reason even though I generally prefer Voltes over combattler, this DX doesn’t speak to me like Combattler DX did. It’s too chubby. The old SOC has better proportion IMO. Hopefully it’s just the photo or pose throwing it off and the final product would be better.

Anyway, wonder why this DX Voltes-V ain't in the Godaikin/Respect deco. Bandai already planning to gouge? It's probably a painted up pre production prototype. Likely a mixture of 3d printed and resin cast. You can see some textures of that in the feet. That would explain why the gun looks bent. The red paint has a hand painted look to it. |

Yeah I do think the thighs could be tad longer....
Id also like to look at him arms straight down! The way hes posed now, he "could" be hiding the infamous "ape arm syndrome."
Overall he still looks nice.

early production unit, maybe they will change it later
what surprised me is that they showed it in both modes ships and robot
as i remember Combattler v was displayed only in ships then they revealed the combined mode

I'm kinda dissapointed that it does not look like it has the ultramagnetic top gimmick where his abdomen opens up which stores the spinning tops 😢😭 It hasnt been released, you haven't pre Ordered yet you haven't touched and played with it yet and your already disappointed with it?  |

DX Chogokin IS Bandai's THE top, THE very best line without any limit without budget constraints, according to thier own.
So i hope they will implement all this character has to offer...
This includes ton of diecast where it will not hinder the figure, magnets every where it might come handy, soft "metallic" clicky ( not the cheap harsh plastic ones...)everywhere, and LED lit eyes.
