$700-800 ish a a lot of nowadays. Long time collectors have badly been affected by this pandemic. Hoping to get this beast but with the poor economic trend and hi cost of the figure, I probably might just drool over some pix in ig and here. Deym....I ate what I said before. The force is strong! LoL Don't we all. "That's not worth it." "Cost too much, wish it has more articulations." "I don't know, something about the sculpt bothers me." 2 Weeks Later... "Preordered! Can't wait!"

Tell me about it, E.I. lasted 7 months. Good thing company called me back last January. But I sold some of my toys last year to fund this DX Voltes Veast!

Mine is all cramp together and in different part of the house... Thanks. The fiasco with AmiAmi's EMS shipping impasse was troublesome. Glad Amazon carried this. No sir. My cabinets are custom made by a cabinet/closet outfit locally. We had considered California Closets but this local vendor came in cheaper and we liked their lighting solution much better.

My collection is just out-growing mine to a point that I gave up having things nicely displayed, as long as they fit. Don't even know where to fit my DX Voltes V (as well as some other stuff), as he is just hanging out somewhere in my living room, while Metal Structure Nu already claimed the upper right open spot.

View AttachmentYeah, as with almost all serious collectors, I can completely relate. I have currently 1207 toys...even with the giant cabinet I had built into my basement, there is no way I can display all of them. It is impossible even if I buy some standalones (which I plan to eventually). So, I am going to assume that at least 40-50% of my collection will need to stay in storage and/or be sold. I'll cross that bridge when I am officially out of room but my priority of displaying is EX Gokin, SoC, Chogokin, Metal Build, Masterpiece TF, and G1 (reissue and non-reissue) Transformers. Peripherals like Max Gokin will also get space. But, CMS Corp and Yamato (Valks) may be on the outside looking in.

My friend in San Fran got his DX packages. No extra outer box from Amazon US though.
The Bandai outer boxes were also stamped "BLUEFIN" in red ink.

The lone exception is the Neo Jumbo Machineder Mazinger Z that was released a few years back that I have on my media center in the family room. Otherwise, you could not tell if I had a robot fetish.
