I had to email Tony twice, but he did get back to me second time. I’m in Canada and he’s told me I may have to wait until July, because EMS must be under 2kg at the moment. I’m a little frightened of the shipping cost for this thing - so honestly, I think I am cool with waiting and praying the freight issues improve. Anyway, I haven’t lost confidence in this retailer yet, but I’ll be watching carefully since I rely on it quite a bit! How is Tony's packing of his items? Does he pack the boxes well to protect the toy's boxes well during shipping? I can't remember if I've ever ordered from RTB in the past, and I want to avoid sellers that cut corners on shipping like ShowZStore who basically wrap the box in a plastic bag and put inexpensive plastic corner pyramid protectors for protection. I'm interested in ordering some stuff from him, but want to ensure that the boxes arrive uncrunched or dented. Not that great. You may not remember, but my super crushed POSE+ Godam is from Tony/Robotoybase. He often re-use the original shipping box from POSE+, which holds 2 toys in one box, and re-use that to ship 1 toy for you. This means the box is half empty. Normally, this would be OK if Tony would just stuff a bunch of crumpled newspaper/air-filled bubble stuff or foam peanuts in it to fill up the empty half. But not the case of Godam, with barely any filling. So when the half empty/hollow box got crushed from the outside, it goes right onto the item inside. It was bad, like one side of the toy box got stomped by someone. I emailed him about it back then and told him to packaged my GGG better next time, wasn't even complaining or asking for partial refund. Just a friendly reminder. When I got his POSE+ GGG shipped to me, same thing, half empty original shipping box. Just that this time no damage was done to the shipping box, so GGG is perfectly fine. So while I wouldn't say he package stuff badly, and there is some bubble wrap around the toy box, the half empty shipping box packaging won't protect the item very well if something happens to it (like my Godam). All it needs is some extra stuffing, but he didn't bothered both times. The only time is was better protected was the POSE+ Goshogun & a 3rd Party TF, which he used a smaller fitting box for those.

I will shell out a little bit more from another seller, but I would rather ensure the box arrives as advertised. Thanks again!

Looking at Mandarake, I found it concerning that both preowned pieces they have in stock have this hip hinge crack issue. What's up with that?

Oh no. I really hope this isn't the case with all copies of this figure. I got mine last week but haven't unboxed it yet. I'm concerned about this as well now. Maybe also KumaStyle.com (TJ) can confirm since he did a video review on Baxinger?

I don't have the figure but watching some reviews on YT, the location seems to be the back of the waist area, not hips (as described on Mandarake).
Below is a photo from the other available copy

Oh man! Hope these are just isolated cases and not the norm. My DX set is shipping out to me from Amazon Japan right now.

I believe mine is from the new 2022 release too as I got mine from Amiami just last week and it came with the Baxinbird bundle. S_Gokin are you able to see the cracked area without transforming the toy out of the box? I haven't opened unboxed mine yet (will probably do it this evening), but I want to open it and examine it to see if it was already pre-cracked before I even transform it.

Thanks S_Gokin for confirming! I just unboxed mine. I did not transform it and just pulled it out to examine it. They don't look like cracks on mine. Yes, they look ugly but they are superficially on the top of the plastic on mine. I don't see anything of a cracking type of nature that is going beneath the plastic surface or any type of separation. The area does not become affected when I move the hinge. I opened the hinge back and forth several times to see if it would stress and it was completely fine. In fact, I'm not even worried about mine to be honest. GetterBoi I think that one photo from Mandarake makes it look far worse than it really is. At least what I experienced first hand with mine anyhow. Unless I'm mistaken, I have not heard of any actual documented issues with these torso hinges cracking off on anyone's Baxingar. And if there are actual breakages in this area, I would like to see any posts and actual pictures showing such. I've heard nothing but good things about this figure and can't wait to fully examine and enjoy mine.

most welcome and thank you for your feedback
and i agree with so far no reports of breakage in that area
the limbs bike transformation is very straight forward but the annoying piece is the big bike (body) its very complex and you need to be very careful with it so you dont scratch or break anything
other than that the figure is really really cool and worth it in every way, cant way to read you final thoughts about it when you fully examine it

Below is a photo from the other available copy Thanks for the tag and general awareness. It's not cracked in those areas at all but to can definitely see lines that may be from stress? It should be noted though that I get so much stuff in constantly from these companies that after I review stuff I rarely even touch these things outside of cleaning or reorganizing shelves so they very well may be a play or two away from cracking.

First of all, don’t use the Amazon Global International Standard. Took almost 2 weeks from ordering til I actually received item when Priority is just $5 bucks more. Happy to report no cracks on mine.

Just opened mine. Mine has hints of crack, but hasn't crack open yet. Also the center white piece that holds the hinges on mine is a bit messed up, with the thicker pin hinge on both sides having some white stress marks. I think the crack issue is due to assembly, applying unnecessary stress on the hinge when they insert the pin (when things not perfectly aligned, like mine). I got mine brand new sealed from Mandarake, so not sure if it was a 2019 release or 2022. And of course mine has issue, its par of the course. Very used to it by now. Oh, and Tony from Robotoybase never get back to me on my preorder. I'll see if he'll give me back my $30 deposit.

i guess most if not all have those marks, and i agree with you those must happened during the manufacturing
for me im not even bothered since these things happened most of the time, and most importantly it didn't effect the figure and i dont think it will break, even for those who own the 2019 batch, i couldnt find any breakage reports

Thanks S! So far having a positive experience with the main figure except for one QC issue. The left hand didn’t have enough glue which is why it came apart while I was handling it. Other than that, I now know why this figure was being praised by reviewers.
