LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
i guess i solved the code, they are smoking some wild pure Corona virus
how this cost more than the DX SOC, cost more than Fewture EX Gokins and cost more than the Pose + Baxinger ?
+ $400 for a 22cm (8.6") figure that is made mostly of plastic !
thanks to these stupid prices the big players in the industry will rise their prices as well since they are making the better stuff
i know some of the fan boys will be defending this as the best figure ever made
well the "best figure ever made" SHOULDN'T have this HUGE gap in the ankles
and im sure it shouldn't have the same hovering effect in mid section as well
specially when they ask + $400
i guess their next move is a spongebob model kit for + $1000
It comes with Black Wing Robot and additional accessories plus more die-cast parts so I guess this is reason why it is $400 plus. Also, I think this is the best Dancouga out there. I like it better than SoC version. The articulation is top notch. Yeah, it's not FEWTURE/Artstorm/POSE plus quality but still, it's a solid figure.

not a enough to charge +$400
i respect your opinion, but if you look to it, any thing can beat the old SOC even the R version is more like a repaint than a renewal
BUT did you see the Super Mini pla version ? its almost as tall as this joke and if you got the whole thing with optional parts set and Black Wing it will cost you about half of the price of this, so logically a %2 diecast and couple of cm in height will cost about + $200 extra ?
i forgot this point, dude you can even add the exclusive black version from super min pla to total of releases i mentioned above and it will cost LESS than this is
told you smoking corona

I can definitely somewhat understand your frustration a bit but remember that this figure was made/released in 2015. The only other combining Dancouga was the Godaikin or old Bandai and the SoC. I love it for the better poseability though the biggest issue of the 1st release of Sentinel Dancouga was the breaking shoulders. My only other issue with this mold is the thinner proportions not quite matching the anime's bulk. That and I think out of all the individual bots that had the biggest downgrade,Eagle Fighter is the one who got the most shafted. But I am loving these new additions and for a steal of a price.

Amazon JP stopped shipping to my country start of 2020 due to new tax laws, sucks for us. I'm going to pre order most likely at Hobbysearch I respect - S_Gokin's opinion, especially 400+ is not cheap, but I have handled a sentinel figure before (Sentinel Dancouga) and they are top notch quality and this guys know what they're doing and with the additional accessories, black wing etc I was expecting it to hit $500 mark - but $400 is still a good price. This is just my 2 cents for this product

Ordered three so far. Bring it, bring it, bring it. Can you help? Where is best place to order? Thanks. I did 3 on Amazon.jp and if it releases stateside I'll order 2 more. Ordered three so far. Bring it, bring it, bring it. Not surprised bud - since he is your favorite Yeah, the PO price for 2015 was 39K yen so with a new head, clear canopy, shoulder die cast, additional sword, wings and with black wing, not too bad, going to PO since Dancouga is one of my favorite and the Sentinel one is the best version out there for me. Exactly. It's a legitimate steal of a deal.... and yes, I am preeeeeeetty partial.

im not frustrated at all my friend, the point im i made was clear, if a 2nd or 3rd class companies start over pricing their stuff what would stop the big players from asking even more for their stuff since they are making the better product
i mean this hobby is getting really expensive and thanks to these moves it will get even more ridiculous
for me anything from Sentinel is over priced and half cocked so when you say steal of price i cant help but to find it funny since its really a steal for what your getting overall
and btw you forgot the Super Mini Pla i know it was released last year but it still count

thank you, i want to hear your feedback when you get it
Hmm.. the mini pla does not transform, does it?
it does everything that the SOC does but only better

It's not nearly as tall as the Sentinel, and I'd pay that extra $200 anyday over a model kit. It's pretty obvious that you never had SMP Dancouga and have no idea what you're talking about. First of all, Eagle Fighter doesn't transform in SMP, you just get 3 separate parts for robot, eagle, and the head with barely any articulations. Also the transformation requires many extra parts like nose parts for Big Moth. And a model kit is a model kit. HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!! If the original 2015 is almost 33k YEN, this combo Renewal pack is a steal!!!! And is it just me or I prefer the style of Sentinel over SoC? I guess I'm a fanboy but I love the design. I just love robot figures as long as they are good.

I have a blatant bias towards the Sentinel but one thing that people don't account for is that it and the SOC are really a non-comparison outside of homaging the same mecha. The SOC line in general is geared much more towards Popy/Godaiken collectors who want to see relatively in-line updates to the older TOYS where Sentinel aims for more accuracy towards specific artworks and the like. It's unfair to both products to try to side-by-side them because they each do what they're intended to do equally as well.
Bringing up something like the Super Mini Pla as a comparison is so insane that I really hope it isn't justified with pages of people going back and forth with whoever; not even worth the time there.
.... Good on Sentinel for doing this. Long overdue. Just sucks that it took a third party releasing the mold in an improved state at a fraction of the price for it to happen.
With THAT; they need to sell the diecast shoulders separately to those who have purchased the previously released Dancouga and Real Color variant of it.

Nothing wrong being bias if the product is really good.

I like the proportions of the Super Minipla but it is not a true transforming piece.
I usually go for these things because the old toys are VERY hard to find and there is no modern rendition to really shine through.

Despite paying $500+ for the old releases of dancouga and black wing I'm more than happy about this.
There's way more than a few ways to display sentinel dancouga so I like having options. Also now tv black wing can be a robot and not a backpack

oh you found out by yourself that i dont own the SMP version ? good for you
if i dont own something doesn't mean i dont know what im talking about, i looked it up in AE and it said 20cm but maybe they meant with the huge canon on the shoulder, i gave you that, while this one is 22cm but with gaps
let me get this if a figure is using part swapping it immediately loses points and becomes awful ? who set that rule ?
true a model kit is a model kit but with model kits you have alot room for improvement
both of the SMP and this are PLASTIC
unless Sentinel show how much diecast in it, this comparison is on

This looks awesome, to rich for my blood but the new paint looks so upscale if not entirely accurate.
