I see bigbadtoystore has it up for $460. Yikes As cool as it looks and I already have the first 2 I think I will have to pass. What's the regular price supposed to be? I got the first 2 at $240 each. the description on the figure says it's 15 inches tall, is this thing really almost twice as big as the original or is it the lance that's 15 inches tall.

I believe there is a mistake, figure is 22cm and lance is 39cm is my poor Japanese is not misleading me...

that's a typo in the official Bandai site it says 22cm
i found this clip as well
to be honest the paint is insanely good looking it remind me of the Metal Robot Spirits Knight Gundam, under the right light the colors will start to dance lol
BUT
for +$350 its not worth it for me, keep in mind this is the price of the DX Mazinger and some Fewture stuff
this is exactly what i was saying, when unrelated companies ask nonsense prices for their products, what will the big players do since they have the better product over all ?
yes they will increase their prices as well

Everything I have read is it’s a repaint (recolonization) of the first metal build with additional weapons. Nothing says it’s 15inches tall except bigbadtoystore. So I thing that’s an error. |

I have to agree with sgokin here... repaint and price stuff. Also the price mark up like he suggest is following a trend of small companies jacking prices up. Damn those colors are nice but that price it’s just ridiculous I mean I like these Evas but for that price I rather buy second Market fewture stuff imho...

Guys, this one is a tamashii web exclusive release. BBTS jacks up the price. The official release price is 26000yen (about 250usd) plus taxes (28600yen). So stop speculating about anything, just don't pay attention to any theories and check the facts. If you live in Japan you only pay about 10 or 15usd extra for the lance. Nothing more.  |

yikes! I thought it was 00 or 06 - but not surprised - easy $$$$ for bandai Happy for those looking forward to this release MyKombini - very reliable - haven't had any issues/problems with them |

The extra cost I mentioned is with mark-up or middleman fee added, as we all know how accessible it is to get Bandai Web Exclusives. While the MB Eva 01 I got when released was just a bit over $200 (with shop discounts that Web Exclusive doesn't offer). You are not wrong about the price, just that very few, if any of us here live in Japan. |

Back up at Bigbadtoystore. The price is outrageously high. I think that are basing the price off the more than 15 inches tall. As far as I can tell there is no such metal build evangelion at 15 inches tall. This is supposed to be a repaint of the first metal build unit 01 and that was 9 inches tall. BBTS always price Exclusive ridiculously high. It is smart not to buy from them for Exclusives. For normal releases, they are good.

I wonder if BBTS has to pay retail pricing to secure those exclusives, so the only way for them to make a decent profit is to put mark-up and shipping on top of that, and then some. While regular releases came with wholesale pricing from suppliers like everyone else. |

its not a speculation or theories, you want facts lets talk numbers
back in the days you could buy an SOC combiner and it wont cost you +$200 shipped, even if it got in the 2nd market the prices were still reasonable
now a days stuff are way overpriced but mainly not from the big players, but from small companies, the bragging of a bigger price tag is nothing good for the consumer by any means
second point this is a P Bandai item, and from my understanding (correct me if im wrong) its equal or even a higher tier than Tamashii Wep Exclusive item
that mean not any store could carry it, even if they can carry regular TWE items, i guess there is some higher fees for those thats why the price get an extra $100 for them to make profit and its even worse for BBTS since they are going to pay more for shipping
not sure if other stores could carry it
