What is the top ten on SOC pricing on the resale market? Let us judge on price appreciation or an increase in value.......
Ed
My guess:
1) Voltes V appreciating the most 2) Some of the transforming plane/gattai in white. Forgot the series name. 3) Gunbuster... then again it may have been rereleased.
etc....

I know the one I want is DX Mazinger Z. I'm not sure how SoC Voltes value will look after the DX releases. Voltes is the most glaring hole in my collection, but I'm holding out for the upcoming deluxe version.

Also, Daimos is extremely coveted. And GaoGaiGar with Goldion Hammer and Star Parts sells for $1k. But technically that's three pieces.

I think the Impact Model Gurren Lagann is in the top 10 But that's not an SOC? If it's general Gokin (not Chogokin since that's a Bandai trademarked term) heck yea that one's pretty up there. ---------------------------- I'm going to toss out Daimos in terms of general value appreciation. Golion would be right up there if not for the recent re release as well.

I believe GX-01RB is still the most valuable SOC not counting super rare one-offs like the Iron Castle version. But off the top of my head the Tobikage 3-piece set is pretty high and even the One Piece Franky can get stupid expensive along with you usual Daimos, Respect for Voltes version, etc.

GX-10 Boss Borot is pretty pricey, generally speaking. Especially considering it initially retailed for, like, $60 or something back in the mid 2000’s.

Most Valuable SOC (trust me 🤞🏻finger cross) Based on mandarake & ebay
1. Voltron SOC GX 71 ... its should be 4th renewal again... hard to find decent price right now....
2. Voltes V SOC GX 31V respect for volt in edition, the most expensive one, following SOC GX 31 the 40th anniversary now its quite popular...
3. Daimos SOC GX 43 , i dont know why bandai not considered to renew again this previous one? The 2nd market was triple charge from its orgininal price right now
4. Gigantor VS Black OX SOC GX 44s , hard to find decent price right now ... bandai plan to renewal ? Naaah i dont think so ...
5. Combattler V SOC GX 50 , this renewal was make the price quite stable high , diffrent from the old one SOC GX 03 was surprisingly cheap below PO price
6. General Franky SOC GX 63 .. it was limited production i think ?
7. The King Braves GaoGaiGar SOC GX 68 .. the 2nd market stable , i dont know when the renewal edition was released it will impact the 2nd price for original ?
8. Danguard A SOC GX 62, the figure is small , but the price in 2nd market tells never lies ....
9. Dairugger SOC GX 88 , trust me this will be stable and valuable in the future
10. Andromeda SOC GX 58 & Arcadia SOC GX 67 following other spaceship like nautilus & yamato
**Next is beyond special edition, i dont think so if these collection is must valuable under all situation **
11. Megazord Zyuranger SOC GX 72B , special edition
12. Energer Experimental SOC GX 47T
13. Minerva X Shining SOC GX 09SS
Etc etc

GX-63 General Franky
GX-71 specially the fist release with red Bandai logo
Special releases
GX-01RG, Mazinger Z GX-01R+ Mazinger Z GX-01RB Mazinger Z ( DVD Limited)
GX-06G1 Getter robo (Chrome Version sold at SDCC) GX-13R Dancouga (real color version not the recent R version)
GX-31 Voltes v both respect version and the 40th anniversary version

None of them to me really especially if Bandai loves to do reissues. They were all relatively easy to get and j started later.

For me the newest model that go up in price are the Sentinel Riobot line. And Fewture Models also, but it's been a while since they release something.

I'm a little surprised how high Boss Borot's gone since I got him. He wasn't exactly cheap back then either but it seems like he's acquired another $100 to his pricetag.

not SOC but some CMS Brave figures are appreciating too. plus funny it may seem.. despite its notorious reputation .. Evolution Toys as well lol probably coz they got some exclusives not yet released by Bandai.

Boss Borot is a real head-scratcher. Not because it's worth so much now, but that between their SOC Mazinkaiser and their Dynamic Classics sub-line, Bandai still hasn't made a new Borot, or at least rereleased the old one (straight rerelease, repaint, renewal or whatever).
Was the first run(s) a complete flop?

Its "a head scratcher" alright...
One of my favorite SOC. Ton of metal, many gimmicks, super solid and stable. Very source accurate.
The only thing on mine is a minor paint qc on his shoulder and his arm peg coming off bit too easy.
It really should get a re-release soon. A very nice SOC.

I'd like to keep this to just SOC. Maybe later we do a modern gokin version of the thread.
