I appreciate the honest review mpchi. Height and size difference with SoC is astonishing. Prior to release some of us were saying this probably $400-500 piece as well. True with Covid-19 that lack of shipping options makes this even more expensive. Yes, engineering in regards with articulation is very impressive as well. If second batch comes through I’ll still snag one. Robotoybase still have some for $489, looks like. Wish I went with them to get the lower local HK price, instead of going with Hobby Search. While Hobby Search is great, their high DHL shipping and their general higher import pricing ($550 & up) in Japan for POSE+ items really brought this to $700 shipped, when normally it would be $600 or less. Even cheaper if no COVID and we can just EMS this for $50-60. Most collectors would see more value in a DX Voltes V with this price, with the Bandai quality, electronic gimmicks, loads of accessories, and fancy display stand...etc. Though I am a fan of Baikanfu, as well as a fan of POSE+, doing what they can to make high quality obscure gokin that can go toe to toe with Bandai (though they can be better with the box art and booklet ). Its like I know I am getting less with my money, but I want to show the support, especially when the product is top notch. Yeah actually robotoybase is sold out. I emailed Tony last week and he said they will be getting a new batch soon. I buy my Pose+ from them as well. I also like Pose+ and any Bandai competitor that makes obscure Gokin too. I’m so psyched Pose+ is making Baldios!! Might have to buy two of those. I’m so sick of Bandai -R they be putting out lately. So I also support any company willing to take risks.

PILE FORMATION!!!Pile formation went decently smooth, with a little bit of confusion on Rom & Kenryu's 180 legs rotation because the instruction wasn't clear, with some pictures rotated, some not. But once you have things all line up correctly, they tabs in pretty firmly and no room to wiggle around unlike the SOC, which is very nice. One minor gripe is the front red hip of Baikanfu. Turn out it is white plastic painted red. With the combination, you will see some red paint wear on the tabs and the edges revealing white underneath. Wish they used red plastic and just an additional white plastic piece for the white waist. But all the articulation joints lineup perfectly. Very impressive. Attachments:

Yeah there's an error in the manual which they amended on Twitter, so got to be careful that the legs are rotated in the correction orientation.

This pile formation reminds me when I took anatomy class dissecting frogs and other animals. 😛 But it is impressive looking beast.

Pose+ knows the way designing articulations... Lu (designer) is coming from TF world. Best combo TF engineering meeting the Gokin robots universe. This brand is so refreshing My Bankaifu is on my desk while working haha great piece !

The extra parts for the pile pose are such a simple yet amazing idea. I'd be constantly worried about it tipping forward, though.

Hey Kuma. Which version is your favorite? SOC, Sentinel, or Pose+?

Patiently waiting for Pose+ Baikanfu to show-up, but from the reviews I've seen thus far this one easily kicks Sentinel to the side and really makes the original release from Bandai look a bit underwhelming, though I wonder how the diecast content will feel on hand. Still super awesome thing to see that a design team from a HK company is giving Bandai a run for their lunch money

Still super awesome thing to see that a design team from a HK company is giving Bandai a run for their lunch money If it is just diecast content, Bandai's feel better, almost heavier. At best, POSE+ is about the same weight as Bandai's, if not a bit lighter, regardless the size difference. And Bandai's accessory mountain and extra Leina figure is a plus. Everything else, POSE+ wins.

Hey Kuma. Which version is your favorite? SOC, Sentinel, or Pose+? I'd say a toss between the Pose+ and SOC. It'd be a very close 1 and 2 with Sentinel being the most distant third place possible.

I’m pretty sure I will like Pose+ better. I even sold my -R copy in anticipation to make room for Pose+.

You forgot to close the bicep and chest. But more importantly, the right hand index finger looks missing. That is the one finger that loves to pop off on mine. Hope you didn't lose it.

I know and am fine with it on top of the finger not being missing. I hope that these kinds of quotes won't be a regular thing. Edit: For anyone reading the finger I had problems with was the middle finger on the right hand. Went over the fix on TFW but they've still sent a new hand.
