Looks awesome. Really imposing. Look like it's about 30cm... Smaller. The Scrander wingspan is 31cm from tip to tip based on the Chinese video review. Using that as measurement, the figure itself is around 25-26cm tall. Still decently big. 30cm would be huge like POSE+ Baikanfu.

this looks really great. CCS are producing some great figures. Looks great for sure. Slightly concern with the test sample joints doesn't look that tight in the video. And CCS Toys had production issues on the GL with production number running way shorter than expected, causing a lot of unfulfilled preorders in Asian market. Hopefully Mazinger Zero won't have any of these when it comes out.

Am I the only one who hates the scrander design? That’s not a set of wings, that’s a giant “null” sign hanging on his back. So many options for a real evil looking pair of demon wings and they gave Maz that crappy frisbee

It's meant to invoke the halo of a divine being, and tie into the Zero name. Don't forget that this Mazinger is a God, and to me is more creative than simple demon wings.

Beautiful...
I hope he has a good amount of metal.
Starting at 49sec mark on this YT video, He just "looks" so light....bit concerned.

Man, that's big! I know its slightly bigger than Metal Build, but that is a lot bigger! Like almost ThreeZero Prime size. Beautiful... I hope he has a good amount of metal. Starting at 49sec mark on this YT video, He just "looks" so light....bit concerned. Don't worry. The reviewer at that moment is actually saying the thing feels very heavy in his hands, from what I can understand. Honestly, I don't know what magic Bandai is gonna pull to compete with this one. Sculpt, finish, size, light gimmick, weight, articulation (though not that extreme), articulated fingers, decent price point, this one has it all.

Yeah, After GX-100, I feel Bandai needs to have a SERIOUS meeting how to handle 3Zero, GoodSmiles Hagane Works, King Arts and CCS.
Bandai can't compete imho.... 3Zero and Hagane already won on "joint front." They're on another level. A step ahead of SOC....
Again, in my opinion, The ONLY advantage "SOC team" has is "laser like sculpt precision" and paint QC....That's it.
OOPS! I forgot POSE+....now they're scary.

I particularly meant Bandai's upcoming Metal Build Mazinger Zero, though what you said is also true. I am just not sure what else Bandai can do on the upcoming MB Zero to get some good sales. It will be smaller, lighter, pricier, and not likely to have LEDs or articulated fingers. MB is not particularly revolutionary on joints engineering. So what else can they really offer aside a more attractive sculpt (which is quite hard to beat)?

i highly agree with you it should be interesting to see what Bandai will do, specially since the last zero they made (SRC) was a bit of fail, tiny head, and the fist turn to some kind material thats unknown to humans
for i think they will tie this in some areas
sculpt, paint apps, articulation
again it would be interesting to see, i just hope they dont bite their tails and run away from the battle filed like they did with the DX Grendizer

yea good thing you edited that because i was going to spam your inbox with Goshogun pics lol
for me personally i still have faith in Bandai i know the last "wow" figure i got was GX88 but still they could do wonders if they wants to
to be honest with you, i only see Art Storm (Pose + & Action Toys) as equal to Bandai, the rest not so much
CCS is still new and their figures are amazing but still not even close to Bandai stuff
3Zero and Hagane Works easily win in articulation department but still not there yet King Arts have the best Spazer in the market today but for the figures they need more, dont get me wrong here they are doing wonderfully but not better than Bandai
at the end we are the winners here since alot of companies are competing, i just hope every one stay sharp and bring their A game not half baked stuff

Before the last tamashii nation I made a post asking if bandai was still the king... I think they are been threaten by many companies. Sentinel, CCS, Pose+, King Arts, 3zero, hagane works. Sentinel is doing a great job with their sculpt and engineering. Pose+ has a lot of die cast and great sculpt, CCS is steeping out the game. Bandai is still the king because they can get almost any license or propertie, and their relation price/product is great, and they tend to have better QC than most companies. But I feel that they are not the company doing the best figures anymore. Most of my collection is SOC/MB and probably it will end up that way (I'm almost done with the things I wanted, and I don't do doubles), but these companies are filling many voids in my collection (like CCS Gurren lagann, Sentinel Shin Getter). They better start improving their game if they want to stay at the top with new collectors.
