Should be releasing any day now. Hmmm, could that be a shoulder joint re-design? For sure. Those photos were taken to make it clear that you can now actually move them.

linkA Japanese twitter user who has it in-hand confirms the shoulders, elbows, knees and neck joint and possibly the waist have been redesigned to allow for more range of motion.

Anybody get their copy shipped out yet? Had it last week. I love the new articulation. I hope they sell an updated gran kaiser with that articulation

WTF Eknightmedia. They just told me my PO of God Sigma Gravion was cancelled because they sold out. This is the 2nd time this happened to me in recent months from EKM.

I have the Tokusatsu Version of the Goodsmile Thunder Gridman under them and I am hoping I have no issues on getting mine.

Any chance they re-release God Gravion and Sol Gravion with the improved articulation on Kaiser?

Any chance they re-release God Gravion and Sol Gravion with the improved articulation on Kaiser? Never say never. Sentinel takes so long to release things already and they have so many projects ahead. I waited 8 years for the RIO:BONE Canti from FLCL to get a reissue. Also out of nowhere they announced reissue of Mazinkaiser after 6 years due to fan demand. So if (very big "IF") they ever do it would be quite many years later.

Any chance they re-release God Gravion and Sol Gravion with the improved articulation on Kaiser? Part of me is thinking they might release a new base Kaiser with better articulation with the Ultimate Gravion parts. Speaking of which those parts were revealed in summer of last year and everything has been silent since. Waiting game continues.....

By the way, God Sigma Gravion seems to be going for a good price on Mandarake - picked one up recently for 28,000 yen.

I think it's because of Sentinel's pricing, esp after import costs plus distributor's cut and retailer's cut. In the US, MSRP is around $400. In Japan it's closer to $300. Difference between God Sigma Gravion vs the first God Gravion, Sigma version only shows up towards the end of the 2nd season for last 2 or 3 episodes, if I remember correctly. Where as God Gravion was in the entire first season plus the beginning of 2nd season. The connection for the Sigma version is not as strong. Some collectors only want 1 Gravion, and it would probably be the first one.

I honestly didn’t want to get God Sigma Gravion because it looked kinda bland. The one to get is Sol Gravion. What a beauty!

I wonder if they'd consider a reissue of God Gravion too. Also, a standalone Ultimate Gravion would be good so you don't have to double up on God Sigma and Sol if you want to display them separately with Ultimate. Hi, I'm from the future. Looks like they opted for a standalone Ultimate Gravion rather than having the Sol and God Sigma Gravions combining. Nope, can't find any evidence that that's in the cards. Which is a big honking disappointment because God Sigma Gravion clearly has the superior shoulders and elbows. Respectfully, I wish. Not sure what they were cooking with the shoulders and elbows for God and Sol Gravion, but that wasn't it, chief... Really? You gotta wonder what's the hold-up. Because if I had to pick one, I would have opt for the OG God Gravion, but the shoulders and elbows in Sentinel's sculpt ruin it for me. I almost got half a mind to just score the Moderoid model kit and call it a day or even wait to see if Bandai Namco does their own God Gravion for Soul of Chogokin because they might actually announce that before Sentinel teases a redo of Gran Kaiser...but then I'm worried the sculpt won't be nearly as badass as Sentinel's... From the future, and according to Gold's pictorial review, it still uses the bad shoulders and elbows. PAIN... Speaking of God Sigma Gravion, looks like Amazon has him for a whopping $192.56 (plus tax), maybe from how Sigma Gravion isn't as on demand as God Gravion. Stuff from Sentinel usually go for $300-$400, so I'm a bit conflicted, if I'm honest...

Other than the first release (which can now be bought for decent prices) none of the Gravions sold well, and went on clearance. If you were to only buy one, it seems the best one is actually God Sigma Gravion, since they implemented some improvements to the base figure with that one, improving articulation.

What I can't figure out is why not implement the base figure improvements onto Ultimate Gravion? Like, I get why God and Sol Gravion didn't get the fixes, but why not Ultimate Gravion, who came right after God Sigma? (Also, did we get any official word on why the Gravions didn't sell well? Did people think they were just too overpriced?)
