Got mine delivered today. AJP box not crushed like some others here. Starcream's actual box is ok, with a very minor crease on top-right corner-edge. Out of the box pictars, then. No cracks, yet...   Chest has about 1mm ground clearance ... 
Currently parked with others I have out already..  It's very nice, so far. Hope it does not develop cracks when and while I tf it later... |

Got mine delivered today. Non-gokin (no metal)...? Prolly only certain red parts are metal, but not really that sure. Haven't TF'ed it. Anyway, here be some moar pics:

Welp!
There have been some chatter over at TFW forum regarding some owners reporting QC issues (like cracks and other stuff) with their MP-52.
Thought my copy didn't have any, but i thought wrong. Finally found a crack with my copy when I transformed him to bot-mode and I was wondering why the right-foot was a bit looser than the left-foot afterwards:
I had to really do some zooming to even get to see it, but there it is. Quite a hairline, but doesn't really affect much of anything. Decided to leave it alone for now, but I may fill it up with some cement or something. Oh, well. Bonus pictar!

That's very unfortunate. Not sure what is up with TakaraTomy's material in the more recent MP releases. One after another there were reports of the plastic not holding up.

Looks like I may be back on hiatus on MP collecting. Resurfaced a few months back and picked up a few older releases I missed. Was wondering if I should even bother with a 3rd Starscream, but still want to wait and see. I think it is safe to say that I can sit out on this one (probably should cancel my Reboost as well), and possibly MPs in the future if TakaraTomy don't pull their crap together.

Speaking of FansToys...are they rebranding to a new manufacturer name/label? Seems they have to because Takara is still planning stuffs with Soundwave (2.00 MP maybe, Kingdom line, etc...). And the legends says iconic TF characters are well legally defended by Hasbro.... Mmmmmhhhhh maybe it's a legend. The DS Starcream version is certainly a Zeta Unicron lesson: proposing a better toy at the same time of the official is not safe for any brand. And to be true pushes the trigger a bit more far and can have consequences on other 3p companies. Fanstoys did same move with their Starscream... I poed too and waiting their Blaster version... (we have OX tapes coming and the display gonna be nice)  |

Seems like he's actually got more ground clearance now than when I first got him out of the box some time ago...  |
