I ALWAYS wanted "metal" build for real haha
If Bandai puts it out for a realistic price? I'd def bite.
Itd be just unassembled SOC except its cheaper then the normal SOC. (since we are doing the assembly RIGHT?)

Awesome! I am doing several Hachette, Deagostini, and Eaglemoss build ups. The Hachette kits are top-notch!

Wow. That's something, roughly 2 years to build up? That's going to take commitment to complete. I never thought we'd see the day when high end items would come out this way. A most interesting concept. Thanks for the headsup!

Well, the two Hachette kits that I import are the Honda S800 and the Disney doll house (for my daughter i swear) I buy them through AJ, the weekly kits are released every Wednesday at 9AM mountain time. If i miss them on AJ, ill grab them on CD Japan. As for the bonus, I don't worry about them for the Honda, but for the Doll House I reached out to an Ebay seller ,out of Japan, who was selling some of the same thing and he or she has been able to get the bonuses, but at a substantial cost. It's expensive and inconvenient, but I am so deep i couldn't go back. Fortunately the Willy's Jeep from Hachette is now available from Eaglemoss under the Die Cast Club.

Yewoza! It would be nice to see Eaglemoss or DeAgostini to a release for this in the US, otherwise importing this will be a nightmare!

Amazing indeed, but a nightmare during COVID. This is really intended for locals with a magazine subscription. DHL every week for 100 week? Dooood....

I went ahead and ordered the first issue AJ. still on the fence if I'm going to follow through with the whole thing.

Has anyone decided to collect/build this? I am currently collecting it, wondering if I'll order a second or not. I won't be building it until I have all the issues though.

This sounds like a great idea until you realize that if you miss one issue, you are screwed. Also, what’s stopping a scalper from buying 1,000 copies of a particular issue that has a crucial part?
This would only be awesome if I lived right next to the factory and could walk over there myself every week and buy my issue for sure

This would only be awesome if I lived right next to the factory and could walk over there myself every week and buy my issue for sure Knock-on-wood I've been pretty lucky with my other Hachette builds. It sucks that I do have to buy them piece by piece however. It gets expensive, met so much more than the monthly builds from Deagostini or Eaglemoss. In the past when I have not been able to source an issue from my regular retailer there are a few back up methods that have been reliable. Additionally, AJ listed the issues at midnight on Tuesday (or is it Wednesday lol) which is 9am here so I usually get in before others. The huge disadvantage is I can't get the freebies/exclusives that subscribers get. Those items get pricey on the huckster market.
