Did anybody catch a potential release date and price? So far, everything I've seen has been rumors. Naw dawg. We all know the price and release date and the uber-l33t-sekrit PO site. Just no one is sharing it. First fule of Sazabi Club is don't talk about Sazabi Club............. :rofl: No one has anything yet. |

Oh man how big IS that thing... My wallet ran away screaming. Will be 1/60 scale so should be about 15 inches at the top of the head. What'll be impressive will be the parts count to create all the opening panels, and various moving parts. I'm super excited for this one but the battle to acquire one will be insane.

I heard that only those that own the Metal Structure Nu can enter a lottery that grant them a chance to join the Sazabi Club. Club members get a red T-shirt with the perk that allows them to spend their money 3 times as fast. It is only then, you can purchase the Sazabi. Time to search on ebay for a Nu, folks!    |

I remember the Nu Gundam lasting for around a day at Amiami, however now that people know how much more valuable this can be in the future I'm sure they won't be frightened by the high price tag. |

Who is buying? I think I am all good with just Nu. Only made space for Nu in my cabinet. With Sazabi is even bigger, its pretty much out of the question, as cool as it maybe to own one. There might be a good chance that P-Bandai US might carry it, with the whole re-brand/merging on the Bandai/Namco/Bluefin thing on the US side.

By current exchange rate 189,200yen is just under US$1400. But that yen number is with 10% tax included.
The challenge isn't even the price. It's actually getting one reserved (if anything like the Nu Gundam release.)

Just like any other Bandai regular release. It is not exclusive. Keep an eye on Amiami, HLJ, HobbySearch...etc. on Aug 2nd Japan time (usually 4pm, but have to check for yourself), and keep your finger in shape to do a lot of F5 clicking. |

It prob will come to US retail in some way, but the Nu Gundam was a huge debacle.
Some shops put it up for preorder, but then had to cancel because they would not be allocated atock.
Only BBTS got a few units to sell, and then Bluefin announced on their social media that they would be opening preorders on their own website, in limited quantities.
It was sold out in a matter of seconds. It was so fast, that Bluefin had to cancel orders that had auto-confirm emails. Lots of people were pissed, as you can imagine.

It may be safer to get it from a Japanese retailer. But you WILL pay a lot for shipping. Sazabi's body weighs about twice as much as Nu from what I read, at about 3.8 KG...not counting accessories and box. US shop will bypass that, but a risk of who and how much stock they can get. The best possible option is if P-Bandai US put up the preorder, but we don't know if that will happen.
