They did the same with their Rayearth... I dont recall if they did that before with other figures (my last figure from them before rayearth was godzilla x eva Kiryu). It seems like good news to me, cause if nothing comes up in those months I may end up getting this. Delays with Sentinel are normal, but I think 4 months is a first.

Must-get! Almost tempting to get two as it’d be a shame only to have it transformed as a gun…

That sounds better, actually; would be neat for them to include a non-transformable gun bundled, but they won’t because not doing so will get some folks to double up on the transformable one:..

I hope they do. I just checked shipping for 2, and it came out to $177.

Never used that site but I'm wondering if it's worth getting it from there and shipping to were I live or wait for sites like HLJ & Amiami to carry it at this point ?

Got one. D4Toys is great. No issue with previous orders. The only thing is that there is some discrepancy on the HK Dollars currency exchange, so by the time you checkout with Paypal for real, it may cost a 5-10 dollars more than the website. At least they have some small discount to offset the high shipping cost. But if Bluefin carries this, most likely will be cheaper.

Never used that site but I'm wondering if it's worth getting it from there and shipping to were I live or wait for sites like HLJ & Amiami to carry it at this point ? They won't carry it, but it will show up preowned later if you're patient.

Looks like R-1 is out overseas. Just watched a couple of YouTube reviews, and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed. At like $200, I expected it to be able to transform, but it basically gets ripped up into pieces and then rearranged into a plane. SRX is understandable cuz the powered parts are its arms and legs, but didn't expect the same treatment for R-1.
This will be my first time getting a sentinel toy. Are the combiners/transforming robots from them always like this? I guess I'm spoiled by Bandai/Pose+/TT/Third Party. Man, it's like Pose+ price range, but nowhere near as good gimmick wise. SRX will likely be my first and last sentinel toy.

I was also surprised how much of it needed to be pulled apart and rearranged like a lego set.

I know I'm not the only one that shares the sentiment that Sentinel is overpriced for what you get especially when compared to others.

I know I'm not the only one that shares the sentiment that Sentinel is overpriced for what you get especially when compared to others. I think we all share that sentiment, there some brands that are always overpriced (ET and Sentinel are two examples). They are good if you know what you are paying for. Sentinel do really cool stuff, with really advanced engineering (at least the ones I own), but overpriced, and little to none die cast content (the only one with a good amount I have is the Shin getter). I have spent a lot in their stuff and never had any regrets, my best advice it that you watch reviews from their past product, and be aware of what you are getting for your money, I is the best way of having no regrets...

But yeah, I think everyone was surprised with how the transformation went down with this R-1. I just hope the sacrifice in transformation is worth it. With this much parts forming, there's a chance tab connections will be loose and wonky on some level, somewheres. I hope I'm wrong. Gold

I hope this is just for R-Wing, not the same kind of transformation design on the rest of SRX. I still have the PVC set if I just need a part-former SRX...

It's not just to fend up for the company here but the SRX team is pretty much impossible to get perfect transformation toys of unless you're wanting things with so much engineering and moving parts integrated into them that you'd being paying $500 plus per from them. It's kind of what it is when it comes to this set.
