Already bought the Dynamite Action, is it worth to "upgrade"? Is the Metal Action transformable?

I don’t have any figure from Evolution Metal Action line. Anyone please let me know the quality of sculpt, proportion - material and paint quality - engineering - posability - sturdiness? Compared to Bandai SOCs, Action Toys’ and Pose+

I have a soft spot for ET in my heart... when i decided I wanted a modern toy of my favorite anime as a child, I got their Dynamite action arbegas... from there I started my modern collection. It is nice to see them back in the game. Its a pity their csncelled their dynamite action line, their last figures were really good and perfect scale with SOCs. I hope this figure turns out really good.

Oh the additional photos definitely have my interest now. . Will most likely buy this. Think paint job could have little more shine to it though. Looks like model.

Damn....450 TOO rich for my poor blood.
I really AM happy that the character is made.
Now I am eating popcorn waiting on Bandai to "poach." Hahaha
Oh Bandai....you devil.

Compared to Bandai SOCs, Action Toys’ and Pose+ Hey Mr.Roboto. I have few ET. They are hit or miss for me. For a long while, that had THE best sculpt in the industry as far as proportion and faithfulness to source material. And ET is brave for making all these cool more obscure licensed characters. Big props for them. The plastic ET used feels light not as dense as others. Lego being 10, SOC 6 and Plamo being 1 in "densometer", I'd say ET was 3. Sculpt and paint is not as sharp as laser sharp Bandai's....of course. I don't think anyone can beat Bandai ATM. MAYBE Sentinel. Most of my ET can't stand on it's own due to they being top heavy with all the iron balls and magnets. Their loosening compound joints don't help the matter. (Diecast lower legs and feet may have helped.) I mostly avoided ET since. I really like their "huge line" but its "messy" looking poseble hands turned me away. (If they included a pair of fixed hand I would have bought couple of Getters) Having said ALL that~ I heard lot of good things about "the new Matal Action" line.

I don't understand the $450 price. As if a "POSE+ can charge that much, so should we" mentality. The figure looks decent, but the joints and sculpt feels very bare-bone. Very simple and minimal, if not a bit too blocky. I can see it being OK at a lower asking price, but at $450, I expect a lot more. Even POSE+ Goshogun and Baxinger were just around the $300 mark in early 2020, which is not that long ago. And the POSE+ Godam only a bit more in the mid $300 range with inflation and all.

ET has charged more always, all they products had been overpriced. I like them, but you always pay a 70~90% more the real value, that being said you are getting a obscure character you won't probably get from any other brand. I'm happy what my ET stuff, but if you don't know what you are getting you may feel very disappointed....

Bbts raised the price $480 😛 The usual online vendors also have this for sale. I preordered this one. One site think it was HLJ said it would have least 60% diecast

Not enough to justify thats price based on the photos. Pose+ for that pricing can stand side by side with SOCs on display. This just looks like an upsize Dynamite Action version. They need to add more gloss to that paint.
