I'm tempted to order a second one myself too, and this is the very first 'modern' voltron toy ever for me to buy. I preorder with BBTS but I think I would do just one since I have no clue on the final production quality...

I am tempted to pre-order a third tbh. If this lives up to expectations it is worth every bit of $700.

It does look nice and Ive ordered one but I cant understand why any of the green and red lion legs can be designed to extend and thus allow for a better proportion? From the popy to the newer versions their legs range from dachshund leg lenghts to pitbull leg lengths...

Just noticed little details, such as: there is less exaggerated size difference between the 2 parts of the silver upper legs and hip joints, than previous toy versions. The 2 parts of the upper leg swivel have a smoother transition.
Which toy show was this from? Thanks for sharing.

Man this looks high quality. With the price tag it better be. lol. Though deep down I'm hoping Bandai will make a DX SOC version in the future. Maybe even with light up eyes.

Face doesn't look as chiseled as the promo pics, more rounded and less 'handsome'. Did they change the face sculpt?!

the face sculpt is wrong the wings are still odd the green and the red lions are a bit longer than they should be there is a huge gap behind the knees and lastly the back design made it looks like its a jet back

In the prototype pics, all the colors look painted on. But on these photos, the colors of the lions look a little flat like they're just from the molded plastic. I really hope we get a painted finish on this. I am super excited to see how this turns out.

Definitely not in for this! Too expensive. Who's Blitzway? A good brand? Bandai, now that's a brand we will remember 30 years from now! I opted to secure a 2nd SOC instead of this and paid way less, I now have a 1st and 3rd release version. Together with both Icarus versions and Titan Power and Lego Voltrons, I think i'm done lol

Blitzway is "THE" best South Korean figure maker.
Blitzway/5Pro did several collab with Japanese companies and IS working on a statue with Prime I believe.
Bandai...yes it IS the gold standrad BUT they DO make REALLY REALLY confounding "mistake" here and there....often.
But having SAID that....currently yes SOC Voltron IS unbeatable! Can't go wrong.
CCS, Pose+ rising tho haha.

New companies like Blitzway and CCS are creating great robo figures but the price, meh. Im guessing the licensing is killing them to mark it lower $$$ comapred with the giant Bandai. But welcoming the competition to the Robo figure industry so fans can have great figures in they're collection.

come on Mo
both Gurren Lagann and Zero were affordable even Shin Getter 1, is cheaper at some place, another key point, for what we are paying CCS figures worth every cent
both Blitzway and Sentinel are overpricing their stuff, example compare Zero to either Mechander Robo or Riobot Mazinkaiser, Zero is just better built
