You are keep making these bold remarks simply because you don't have a first hand experience with the Sentinel. You just have no clue what you're talking about. Just take out your Hagane Works and see if it's anything like the photo you see above. Do they look similar to you? If they do, I seriously doubt you can differentiate your SOCs from something you can pick up at walmart. Before the Sentinel, super robot figures had very limited articulations, mediocre details that only the fans would appreciate. If the Sentinel hadn't pioneered the market with its exceptional details and super high quality finish, also the articulation that would make the gundam model kits run for its money, There would be no CCS Toys, no Pose Plus, no 5Pro. We'd have to just take whatever Bandai throw at us, and be thankful about it.

It's as bocasas said, SOC and the price is meant to be a lower tier compared to the DX SOC. It's like comparing the SOC Combattler to the DX SOC Combattler. "Well this one has more diecast and has lights and electronics while this one is smaller and doesn't have lights/electronics." One is made intentionally to be a more premium product and to have more features and cost more as well.
It's like a different model tiers in a car. You can have the base model at one end and the premium one with all the bells and whistles at the other. For argument's sake, the SOC is at base level and the DX SOC is at the premium level. That's Bandai's "car" lineup. Blitzway is another car company and their version of premium (or DX SOC) is their Voltron. Would it be a fair comparison to match up the SOC to what is perceived as the DX SOC level of another company? Not really. Blitzway Voltron, with all its bells and whistles and size can only be seen on a DX SOC. Unfortunately, Bandai doesn't have a DX SOC Voltron at this point.
I see what you're getting at that there are still things that can be compared across tiers like articulation or design but I think that really only works as a whole if both products were designed at the same or almost at the same level.

I know you don't like Sentinel S (I know they are a bit overpriced but their engineering tends to be top notch), but you are missing the point. You can compare this 700usd voltron to the SOC, is like comparing the dx mazinger with the SOC. You can, but you will end telling the obvious, they are just not in the same league (and that doest mean the SOC is bad, is just a lower tier product due to its price).
Mazinkaiser breaks in half
Shin Getter 1 breaks in half (but with some lvl 10 magic you can attach it back) GGGG fingers could also be broken with weak LEDs
what kinda of engineering is that man
my point is, so far the SOC is the best Voltron, so it logical to compare it with this, since some claims its going to be the best Voltron, thats it
remember when the Heavy Metal Shin Mazinger Zero used to be the best Zero ? it was taken down by CCS Zero, so size and different price tags doesn't mean much some times

you keep having those cute assumptions about my experience and statue them as facts, nothing changed with you huh ? FYI i had the Sentinel on preorder but when i saw the ultimate gimmick of breaking in two i canceled it immediately, crazy right ? i also saw it in person and handled it, didn't like it much so money saved
lol the classic "if dont agree on my point then you dont know things", this trick have no effect, so i hate to break it to you but i dont agree and i KNOW things tiny changes but over all they are identical nothing that worth an extra $150
and that's just a lie Sentinel fans made, way back in 2009 Bandai started paying attention to the articulation and joints with some SOCs (GX45 Mazinger z) and with the SRC line launching in 2010, SIX years before Sentinel, i know its not similar to Sentinel but they were getting there and they kept updating till we got the FA, we also had couple of good articulated robots before Sentinel
i cant keep this going, if you keep saying robust and quality about this figure, i dont do discussions with emotional thinkers
does this look like high end or quality to you ?
wow so robust, didnt know Mazinkaiser is a combiner

I don't have mazinkaiser, but I have Shin getter (and also jehuty, evaxgodzilla kiryu, tsugumori and rayearth) and nothing has ever broken... Anyway if you want to continue lets end the Sentinel debate in another post, so we don't make offtopic. This will be the best voltron because its a 700 bucks figure period.

How it is as big as the Sentinel?, and how it does everything SOC does and better? It's not a matter of agree or disagree, you're talking about things that you don't have first hand experience with, and they're just plain WRONG, Same goes to the remarks you made on the Sentinel and Hagane Works, the differences are NOT tiny as they're the defining features of the Sentinel figures in general. The features that people love and would pay the hefty price tag for. I mean seriously, do they look identical to you? If you honestly feel that these two do look all identical, I think you're in a wrong place. I mean why buy SOCs to begin with? You can pick up an Walmart Voltron that looks just as good as the SOC, does everything SOC does, hell, it's even super durable that you can practically throw it around, all at a fraction of the price of SOC!! Here, all for under $100. You don't feel so 'reasonable' now do you? Isn't it pretty obvious who CCS was benchmarking? I certainly don't remember anyone trying to copy that not to mention GX45 was a commercial failure that I found mine in a bargain bin for less than the half of its original price lol Again, if you're looking for that kind of quality, look no further than the Walmart Voltron!! When I say quality, I'm talking about its paint apps, attention to the details, and the engineering that was put into. The Hagane Works is missing all thing that defines the quality of Sentinel.

The Hagane Works is missing all thing that defines the quality of Sentinel.
im not going to keep discussing this, since you are using words only a an emotional thinker would use, what you are trying to sell here is a figure with a stupid design flaw and every one should accept this and address it as a greatest figure for the character ? lol okay good luck
two thing i could address tho
the SOC GX-45 was a commercial failure ? LOL that some legit and PURE BS, let me guess you assumed that as well right ?
lets see, we have the GX-45, GX-45A Atami night, GX-45C comic color version
hmmmm why the heck would Bandai do different versions of a "commercial failure" figure ? they must be craaaaazy
not to mention the other releases which used a similar mold, GX-47, GX-47T, GX-47N, GX-49 and GX-49G
thats even crazier
getting a deal on a figure DOESN'T mean it was a failure
last thing
my collection my rules i could collect Lego's if i want to without caring what others might say, especially an emo thinker or a sad Sentinel fan boy

GX-45 was thrown into the bargain bins just about everywhere else. The recolors in most cases, are their pathetic attempts to milk out of whatever the failure they had created. You get the reruns for a product that really sells like the Voltron, not the recolors. And keep your rules to yourself, no one needs your opinion about the figures that you don't even own.

lets agree to disagree then
you like the Sentinel you think its better fine i wont judge, i like the HW i think its better, wont care about your opinion and im sure i didn't ask for it either
but i guess you are still butthurt from our discussion from years ago, when you called the GX75 garbage, that's why you are trying so hard to defend this sad figure
as i told you i handled both and i liked the HW better, whats the point of all these joints if its going to break, and for that single fact, that the HW is built better made it a winner, so all those tries of sugar coating are a waste of everyone time
going ignore the nonsense you said about the GX45
i dont believe in owning sad figures that could break in two, i dont think i need to own something in order to give an opinion, since somethings are very clear like the picture i posted above
let me tell you something will hurt even you more, people in RJ, in FB and Insta respect my opinion, mainly because i dont sugar coat stuff and i dont defend sad figures like you are doing right now

HW is no where near the complexity and the finish quality of the Sentinel. It's a simple fact that only you're trying to deny so desperately. And people respect your reviews on things that you don't even have? Good for you

It's not a matter of agreeing or disagreeing, I don't care if he hates the Sentinel or not,
he's just spreading false info on things that he has no idea with.
If you don't like the trouble in the board, I recommend you to remove the cause of it.
