At last ... after 45 years since 1976 , the super sentai robo comes again under Evolution Toys while they tweet upcoming project of "Daindenjin" , maybe under Metal Action line ? Times to renew the vintage "godaikin" version

They have my attention... but it will depend on the price. ET is always over priced, but sometimes is just overpriced and sometimes too overpriced

www.anime-export.com/index.php?product=53499Denjitiger and Daidenjin are the first entry in the Super Sentai Series line-up Made by ABS, PVC and die-cast metal. Denjitiger is 33 cm long, Daidenjin is 18 cm tall Comes with 4 interchangeable hands, Crane option parts, Denjiken, Daidenjin Boomerang and Denjiball By FutureQuestI am hesitating.... Price is not cheap and still conviced SOC is an option... And the robot is small to me

Im so much into it... but that price. The size is OK, it will look good next to the SOCs: battle robo J, leopardon and daileon. I'll have to think about this one. Anyone has been buying from ET recently? My last figure from them was from the dynamite action line, so I have no idea if they have improved (I found their dynamite action stuff OK, when it wasn't combiner robots)

Ahhh after seeing more photos, I actually like my vintage version more instead. The color and finish look better than this. I’m gonna pass.

So I wrote my last post at 5am here.. went to HLJ and there it wasn't, so I end putting up my PO. I'm not sure about this one (there are high chances I end up canceling it), but I'm a sentai fan and I don't have the vintage one. The fact they release the complete set adds to my hype. I'll make a follow up when this one shows up in expos. If it ends up looking cool, I won't miss it.

Daidenjin lower legs are just shells with the inner sides exposed? Looks like budget Transformers. Really disappointing half baked effort.

ET couldn't even get the chest panels aligned and closed in their official photos? No thanks.

I don't have the vintage one, if that was the case I wouldnt buy this one. But getting the vintage popy complete set without missing parts would cost me a fortune (I hate having things with missing parts, I decided to avoid that at all cost). This one, on the other hand, is more "affordable"... I'll wait for more pictures before I made a final decision though...

Curious to see how this one will turn out. That blue color is a bit unflattering.

Finally got this guy. The mecha is small (about 15cm) and has decent articulation (great compared to sentai toys, yet below today standards), also has a good heft to it. Accesories are nice and give you daidenjin full arsenal. Mine does not have any qc issues. Transformation is intuitive and fun ship mode looks good (too bad you can secure the legs to avoid them from moving). The denzitiger look good too but it is 95% plastic (only the wheels in the thread are diecast), mine has a thread and the crane stuck, the crane required a lot of strength to pull it out, as for the thread seems I have to push it a bit inside so it can turn around (nothing too big of an issue but for its price should have been perfect). Transformation obviously is very easy between modes, nice touch to have de launch platform lift. The mold is nice and detailed yet plastic is just ok (again not bad but for its price...). Overall it's a very nice release, it will look good next to bandai toku stuff (battle fever robo, Daileon, daitetsujin). It is cheaper than getting the old popy for sure, but it's really expensive for what it is this set should have been 250usd max (200usd is the right price i think, and I got it for 335usd). I'm happy with it though... recommended only is your are a sentai/toku lover since I don't think this would get another modern toy representation soon.

I was always curious about this figure. Are the blue sections of the robot painted or is it blue molded plastic? I think this figure would look really good if repainted to look similar to the Popy. My only gripe with it was the flat color of blue that was selected. I'm also wondering if the toy can be easily disassembled for repainting if we would like. I know with their GABM Albegas, it was not possible to disassemble the robots for repainting.

Thanks for review bocasas. I thought about buying this since I have both mecha and transport vintage version. Who knows I might change my mind later.
