 No SRP or release date yet but it looks like we're getting cloth cape/ soft goods, along with removable forearms with effects parts for Dygenguar. Hard to tell if there are any changes to the deco from this one pic. Hope we see official pics soon. Gold |

thanks for sharing Gold im glad i hold my "horses" on this (see what i did there) lol seriously, im glad i didnt get the old release since this one looks waaay better and comes with new stuff, not to mention it looks better balanced ? |

Better balanced? How? Like Chogokinabdul, I couldn't spot a single difference in the figures themselves. Doesn't mean there are none, but I don't see any. Looks like they just added a rocket punch accessory, changed the plastic cape for cloth one... and probably a major price hike. I already have the original, so I'll pass on that one, even though I do love the cloth cape. (But what's going on with the collar on that shot? It looks like a hoodie hovering over its head.) But if did not, I'd jump on it. It's a great figure. Lots of posing possibilities, but you know you'll end up leaving it in that Hi-Ho Silver pose. Oh! Yes, you will. We all did. It's just too awesome not to. |

other than the new stuff we are getting that Gold mentioned (cloth cape, soft goods, forearms and effects parts)
if you noticed the knee bend is way better than the original release
which will allow the figure to do more poses better
that what made me think this R version is better balanced over all than the original version, another point the original was released waay back 2009 (13 years ago), so and after i saw these pictures im sure Bandai updated the joints system, updated joints = better balance
but of course this is my guess i dont have the original and i didnt see it in person before, so i could be wrong

It doesn't hurt to have 2 copies if you have the space to display one with Dygenguar mounted, and the other with Aussenseiter in robot mode.

It doesn't hurt to have 2 copies if you have the space to display one with Dygenguar mounted, and the other with Aussenseiter in robot mode. I had the same thought - love these robots in SRW, so I'd be happy to double-dip on this if they end up getting discounted at all. |

i know its big price tag but the original one was around 30.800 Yen, so an extra 8800 Yen is nothing if we considered the improvements they did to both figures, this is a pack of two figures one of them could transform, the extra accessories they added, and the retouching here and there i think the price is reasonable, high yes of course but its reasonable for what we are getting
if this was a from another stupid company the price would be doubled easily, this is why i respect Bandai

don't get me wrong, its a reasonable price. But being a reissue I was expecting it to be less expensive. Also, it is a lot of money to invest in a figure I'm not so much into, Id rather spend it in a MB or the Future quest Daidenjin and denzitiger (love sentai stuff). So I'll pass this one, if it goes into a crazy sale like leopardon R (half price) for example I may go for it....
