What about original Godzilla? Shouldn't that be released first? Is this a prank post?

First of all, it looks and it is really cool... love it, but I'm not getting it. it is a pointless release, not being in scale with the monsterarts line it the stupidest move I've seen in years. I'll stick to the monsterarts one.

i agree with you guys it looks cool and all
but it wont fit in my collection, the SOC line is open for any suggestions now, there is still some cool and rare super robots that they need to do, and most collectors are not waiting for Bandai any longer so they better step up their game a bit, starting with Bismarck or Albegas i know most of the members if not all will grab those in a heart beat

Odd move indeed BUT being an odd ball MYSELF,
I might bite if and WHEN it goes on 30 percent off sale. (Unfortunately, I wear “the cursed non scale armor”…)

Sorry for my skepticism but are we sure that it's really gonna be GX-103... I don't see any clear indications in that pic aside from the Soul of Chogokin card that's not even showing the whole content
Unless the pic came from a reliable source that has the complete info

In blog articles from Gokin.it, Taghobby, HPOI, ToyPeople are already confirming it as GX-103. I assume someone there at the event spoke to someone from Bandai and confirmed it. But you're right, the SOC card doesn't have a number on it, maybe someone jumped to conclusion and other blogs followed. Either way, we'll know soon enough.

103 was first revealed by tamashii nations official twitter: Pics are from the same outdoor installation where they revealed monsterarts 1972 Gigan. I’m not a fan of that huge stand. I don’t use stands; it’ll just bloat the size of the box. I don’t have a nostalgic connection to this version of Mecha-G either. That said, it looks great. Bet it’s a heavy beast, too. I’m tempted.

Also you can check the image up here where gigan 1972 MA is in the other cabinet and it is significantly smaller than kiryu.

I don't know the nomenclature of the eras, but aren't 70s era Godzilla & co smaller than their millennium era counterparts? Hey I'm just trying to help people justify it! : ) Here's an interesting graphic from an archived Reddit thread.

Yes that's true... but for the sake of movies when they cross they are almost the same size (like zilla in final wars or like go nagai's mechas in crossovers). Also, worst of all you won't have a godzilla 2002 to pose it with... On the other hand, I think it looks awesome and would be a great SOC. Maybe we can pose it with our Gipsy danger, he has been alone for a long time (hate you bandai hahaha)

There's so many other viable super robot choices to still do and yet they decide on doing this. Hopefully we get Albegas before GX-200. I'll be in my sixties (46 years old currently) by the time GX-200 comes around. Honestly, I just wish either Action Toys or Pose+ can just deliver Albegas so I can give my longest middle finger to Bandai and be done with hoping/waiting. I want a quality chogokin Albegas, but the requirement does not have to be that it must be an SOC version. Ok, rant over. No disrespect to the Kiryu or Godzilla fans in any way.

I don't mind having something Godzilla-related. Especially the robot kind

So, wasn't there a Chogokin version of the Mecha-Gojira a few years ago?
