I did, hoping Fast Pack and Booster will be some exclusive Add-ons later. But who knows... I thought of backtracking the old Full Set with everything, but that thing is quite old. Worry about plastic yellowing even if it is brand new unopened. One aspect I don't like about these DX valks, their bare plastic has limited shelf life, no matter how well you protect them, or leave them unopened in the box. They will still yellow after a number of years. Good thing the YF19 is already yellow. lol. How's is the build quality and the die cast content? Now im a bit worries as I havent opened my Red VF1S since I bought it 2 years ago. Probably will open it someday soon. Still waiting on the YF-19, so can't tell you on build quality. Your red 1S should be fine. 2 years is still good. But once it hit 6-8 year mark, you'll likely see the yellowing. Happened to all my DX Frontier ones. But surprisingly, the Yamato plastic don't seem to yellow as much, even though they are older. Though Yamato valk has its own plastic issue...brittle. |
