I am looking to purchase a rotating display stand for my SOC (e.g. Godsigma) and my DXes (e.g. Mazinger Z DX, Great Mazinger DX, Combattler DX) which usually 10 - 14 inches tall.
Any suggestion which particular model that I should purchase?
Thanks

hello 3 things to keep in mind 1. how much weight can the stand handle (i recommend no less than 20kg). 2. the width of the stand should be no less than 25cm (good for big figures perfect for small figures). 3. get one without built in battery, it will have issues later on.
bonus tip
find one that could rotate in both directions (clockwise, counterclockwise)
example with the SRC figures
example with Fewture figures

GodSigma is one of my favorite robos, and I have also need to take time to try out some display stands. Years ago I got a couple smaller sizes with a chrome/mirrored top and multicolored LED beam in the center, from a novelty/hobby shop of some sort. These were good for small clear, or colored clear plastic and vinyl toys where the light shone up through the leg to light up within, was a cool look. I like the white top like SGokin shows above, and I'm also interested in getting one of these that has a velvet top, which may help footing stability for some bots: a.co/d/47A6KcIAmazing how many stands are available advertised mainly for photography. Also this thread may already have info here on RJ up in the "Displays" thread sections. I'll have to take a look.

thank you glad you liked it, (it also comes in black)
here is what i do sometime i use a microfiber cloth (same one that comes with glasses) it will help protecting the surface from scratches or help the stability for some bots like you said, worth to mention the one i have, have rubber underneath and the surface is not slippery but i do it just in case
as you know bro im not earning a dime from this lol, this is my dirty hobby which i enjoy the most, i still remember the good old times when i used a phone camera and a couple of white boards

I looked at the display stand from your URL, but notice the load weight (no 4) is 1 kg max. It is not at least 20 kg like you recommended. Is this the right stand? Ah, sorry, I just noticed the weight. 1 kg is about one large SOC, like GodSigma, so would be just at that limit. Try searching thru the Amazon pages to get some ideas of other weight capacity stands.

I 'm using this 1/6 scale stand, though mine can't use AAA batteries. Rotates both way, stops at different angle, adjustable speed & 3kg max limit. imgur.com/a/3xToyh6

thanks for sharing
i came across this one but a friend of mine told me to stay away from anything that have a built in battery or use batteries, best option is the one that need power either from a power bank or a usb from a computer (this is based on my and his experience) feel free to buy what you like
i noticed they have couple more one that can hold 100Kg which is an over kill lol but the price is reasonable

I dont mind if more options are offered. The good thing about this stand is, it can use 18650 battery. But yeah for sure using USB is much more convenient, you do not need to remove/change the batteries. Though I wish for a stand with remote control.
Hopefully the stand would last a long time. I bought a couple stands just last week. ^_^;

when i first started searching for a rotating display i found a high end one it was very high tech, it came with a remote control (or app), could rotate with 3 speeds in both L&R, max load was around 50Kg, it could be powered by both battery and USB, the price was around $150 but it was sold out and i couldn't find it new any where, sadly i forgot whats the brand
congrats on your new stand, if you have time share with us you overall experience with it
