I wouldn't call the regular head "goofy", but I do think the damaged one-eyed looks better.
SKL (as well as Black Getter, to some extent) looks like it was designed by a 14-year-old edge lord and it's as absolutely glorious as it is ridiculous. CCS' rendition is magnificent.

figure of the year for me, there is only two things i didnt like
the sword is waaay over sized
@10:50 from the clip you can see the figure is struggle to hold the sword which is a bit of annoying since this shouldnt be the case but again the sword is crazy
other than that and on the papers, this is the best SKL figure ever made i dont think any one could do better than this, it checked all of the boxes for me

I can tell you this much, it would be stupid not to make one! They already have a bunch of parts that are compatible with a Kaiser and a new figure would require minimal tooling. The only big surprise would be the Scrander. Blitzway took a lot of liberties on their version and Sky X had a very unique approach, so their interpretation could be something completely out of the left field… in a good way hopefully. Other than a new chest plate, shoulders and tights, I don’t expect mayor changes if they make a Kaiser.

just got mine (guess im the first one in here hehehe) figure of the year like i told you to be honest i didnt play "alot" with it but i can tell you its stunning in person things i didnt like, first the shoulders armors is a bit tricky the metal peg on mine is a bit loose not like Great Mazinkaiser and it was super tricky to attach i had to remove the arm from the body then remove the forearms for a better and safer grip yes this thing is also crazy and it will stab you i guess its an SKL thing to stab people lol gimmick of the year is the screaming skull effect booooy its so good
my first impression overall im very very very happy with it i think CCS did decent job on this one

just got mine (guess im the first one in here hehehe) I was very close to buying it (and am still thinking about it), but I only have the space and budget for one Mazinkaiser and so would prefer one that looks more like the original, which up to now none of the options fit what I want. |
