If same size with Hi-Metal R bandai (height around 19cm) what makes these special with hefty price tag usually from Sentinel-Riobot The sculpt (based on a design from GA Graphic magazine) and the articulation. Similar selling point as their recent L-Gaim, tailored to a specific audience that want more out of the figure in a specific way (hardcore fans oriented).  Not many figures can kneel like this, with the knee hitting the chest.  It does look very nice, and I can see some advantages over previous releases from other companies or toyline. But that said, I am not sure this is something for me, as I am not a big fan of the series. I like the designs in general, but never watched the show. And at this price, you kind of need to love it quite a bit to be willing to pay this much. I did with L-Gaim, because it was the closest thing to owning a Five Stars Stories 'gokin'. Heh  . |

I never watched the series but always loved their design... the hi metal version was ok, but nothing that attracted me enough to commit myself to buy a figure, however this sentinel release looks great, I love the proportions, and the articulation, I can imagine this guy sitting next to the Zoe riobot and the MB gundams... not so sure if the will do the 3 units. May be can complete the trio with the hi metal in case sentinel only do unit 1... they have done that before, I'm still waiting for windom and selece from MKR...
Pre ordered it, I hope nothing too relevant got released around those months...

Need to go D4Toys or special shops that carries the exclusive version if you want that too. And I do think this one is the nicest, after comparing pics with the HMR, Max Gokin, and Hi-Spec. More balanced, and more detailed. The others sometimes went for a cooler look, but have parts and shapes stretched out and curved too much that made it look more organic (more Obari). This one still look cool, but pretty grounded, yet much cooler than the otherwise a bit dated anime proportions. If this go on a good discount at some point, that may change my mind and reconsider. |

Yeah, I'm starting to hate sentinel for that... the thing is lately I've been buying from ninnin since they undervalue items a lot, and my country charges 50% tax for imported items, so it's saving me a lot of money in expensive items... |

Nin-nin often carry the Sentinel Exclusive version as well, just small in number and always have a markup. Those sold out often, while the regulars they have plenty.

So metal build dragonar basically. I'll try to get it, but there are a lot if expensive things coming... suddenly a lot of myth cloth, monsterarts and gundam MB, composite and chogokin announced. |

This would have been an easy buy if I were a Dragonar fan. Looks very good, and the diecast content seems to be a step up from the L-Gaim.
