All I can tell is the elbow missile drills. They were not included with 105, right? Better come with something else extra.

They really need to broaden their offerings and give us something besides another Mazinger!
How about a Getter Robo G update??

Maybe they read Gold's old review of GX-105, but it looks like Jet Pilder, Drill Missile Elbow and the Iron Cutter are now included this time.
The missing Stand of GX-105, however, maybe either in the yet-another-next iteration or yet-another-PBandai-exclusive.
oy vey...

this is exactly the reason why i think Bandai is destroying them self been legit idiots
its the EXACT same as the GX-105 but with more accessories same stupid mistake in the SHF line
im a Mazinger fan but im not a fool im not going to double dip buying the same thing over and over again just for accessories
if they are truly respectable they will release those as an add on set or optional parts
other than that they can shove it in you know where

Well they could have just named it gx-105r. It's annoying when they misuse the numbering system :-P

Is this supposed to replace GX-70?
If yes, Bandai might change Maz's proportions to match how he appeared in the OVA, which explains why it's getting a different release number.
Still, DC Maz was already a good representation, except for the hip panel swapping.

I wonder if it's basically GX-105 was the Mazinger version of Mazinger Z, and GX-117 is the Great Mazinger version of Mazinger Z after it was rebuilt (Sometimes called the Reinforced Version), pretty sure on the show they looked exactly the same but canon wise it has New Chogokin Z. I dunno seems like a stretch but who knows.

I dunno seems like a stretch but who knows. It is. It literally says it in the name (強化型 Enhanced/Reinforced Version). That's why it has the additional accessories and Iron Cutter. Just that previously, they are all included in one single figure release, instead of parted out into two to make twice the money. Imagine they release any SOC Voltes V with 2 versions (with/without bird upgrade on the back), 2 Gaikings (with/without upgrade parts), 2 Dancougas (with/without wings)...etc. Man, Bandai is gonna have a field day on classic Jeeg, possibly 4 or 5 releases LOL.

Probably not judging from what will have anniversary this & next year. Expect this couple of year the following - Mazinger Releases (Anime Colors) - Getter Robo G (2.0) - Grendizer U Toys (along side Anime colors after 3 to 4 years)

After seeing gx111 can't avoid to await for a future grendizer kakumei shinka... too bad they will probably go with grendizer U first (I'm also tempted to get it...)
