Dear esteemed members of Robot Japan! It's THAT time.
It is my honor AND pleasure(?) to cordially and RESPECTFULLY request a submission of your favorit Robot Japan of the year nominations for this AMAZING Robot year.
There were so~many exceptional robots released this year. (I'm going to need YOUR help(?) to pick out MY nominations haha.)
The only firm "rule" is be nice...but your nomination should Preffereably Robot figure of Japan in origin. You can nominate around 3 to 5. I will add a poll at Jan 30. ( to give everyone enough time to get 2024 release in hand and have time to actually play test them.) and then we can announce the winner at around February 14 2025.
(This way we don't leave out ANY last minute releases and just have enough time for bros to RECIEVE and play with the said figure.)

It feels a little too early to nominate candidates. Besides the SOC Tryon 3, we have the CCS Mazinkaiser SKL coming soon, and the Blitzway Maxinkaiser supposedly coming within a month as well. Didn't that come out October/November last year? |

Just a suggestion  Maybe straight up "re-colours" (no changes whatsoever, like maybe an R treatment) should not be included since they're not new figures and basically just re-issues..? |

None of them have arrived yet but fact of the matter is many of the year's best toys are often late releases. But those are for sure the three I've been looking forward to the most this year.

I agree with this. Unless it was heavily retooled I don't think recolors should be nominated. We're supposed to chose from the new best figures of the year, not yesteryear. |

1. Mosho goshogun The sculpt. The retention of all the smaller units and their transformation capabilities. The magnetic light up for eyes chest and rear pack. The magnetic base so the smaller units can stay secure and reduce being lost from accidents. These features while still being able to provide good poses. Oh and lastly is the weight.
2. Blitzway Mazinkaiser The size works with dx mazinger and great mazinger. That alone is a win... The heft.
3. Skystudio Getter series: Surprisingly unexpected good release along with the other Sky studio getters to have some internal details like the dx mazinger while having the heft, the magnetic panels, and light up gimmicks. This followed by pretty decent posing ability.
