I had no trouble getting gx-18 (Getter Dragun) from HLJ. and they still have it in stock now that it is months after it came out.
But gx-19 and gx-20 seem to be a different story...did Bandai do a short run on these two? Will they be making more so I can get them in my hot little hands without having to pay a fortune?

Although I don't have the exact numbers, it's safe to assume that Bandai made less of Liger and Posieden since Dragon is the clear star of the series. As for re-issueing them again you never know now with Bandai, but I wouldn't put it past them to make a box set of all three of them combined.

The funny thing about this is that Dragon may be the star of the show, whereas Liger and Poseidon were the star toys ;D
I guess Draghon followed too much of a Mazinger/Grendizer stile and the casual buyer got more easily into the more creative Liger and Poseidon, since he already had something similar (a Mazinger, Great Mazinger or Grendizer)

The information i have on my hand from japan is, they release GX-18 two months before GX-19 and GX-20, they produce almost twice the numbers of GX-18 in compare with GX-19/ GX-20. I'm 99% sure that they are NOT going to re-release GX-20 in the future because of the profit problem. The diecast contain of GX-20 is HUGE, almost twice as much as GX-01 but the price is merely 5500(GX-02R is about 70% of the weight of GX-20 and without the extra very heavy diecast getter flying machine).
The profit they gain doesnt match the investment they put on at all, in the case of GX-20.

I'm totally Delusional!! ;D

Yeah I did notice that Poseidon was getting kinda pricey. Too bad cause I have this friend that thought he could wait it out and get a good deal on Poseidon since he is a secondary character in the set. Too Bad for him! "cheaper now, exspensive later"

This makes me wonder about GX-24.
This guy should be VERY HEAVY and at 6K Yen, then maybe Bandai is not making that much of a profit as well.
HENCE, we should buy this guy asap , as well.

The good news is that www.bigbadtoystore.com just got some more in stock(GX 19 and 20); the bad news is that they're 99.99 and 89.99 respectively.

I'd like to see them re-issue the GX06 Getter team. But that seems to be the way of things with SOC- ya'snooze;ya'lose. (and GX24 has light-up eyes!) JWM

I just looked at Hobby Link Japan, and they now have Getter Poseidon in stock (as well as GX-21 and GX-22)!!!!
Needless to say I immediately placed an prder for Poseidon...and the price is less than half of what I almost paid...phew.

The whole Getter G team is an impressive set, but Posieden is the most fun out of the three. He's has the least accesories but the highest play factor. If you have GX-07 or Gx-10, Posieden fits in that catagory.

My Poseidon should get here (South America) sometime next week.
I will then have a challenger for my Liger's crown (My current favourite toy).
I hope my tastes fit in with the general populace cause I would love to be amazed again!

A lot of you guys seem to like Liger's design a lot....I think it looks kinda dorky. My favorite of the trio is probably Posieden, but I like Dragon a LOT!!! So, why do you guys not like Dragon? Bill
