Be wary, because his brothers and sisters will surely find a way to follow him to your home. Maybe his brothers will.......not sure with the sisters ;D

The GX-10 (Boss Borot) Reissue has been out for quite a while now. Well, at least for about two months in Taipei. I bought a 1st issue for NT$1,200 (36 USD) last April. The price was going twice the amount I paid for when I went to Hong Kong in July. ::)Anyway, the prices have stabilized after the release of GX-10 Reissue. It's selling in Taipei for NT$1,300 (39 USD) now. I think the situation for the GX-01R (Mazinger Z Redesign) Reissue will be the same; it will stabilize the current prices for the 1st issue. I have two sets of the GX-01R. The first one I purchased in Hong Kong for HK$350 (45 USD). I was in a hurry to catch my flight and thought that it was a good deal, so I bought the set and didn't bother to check the contents. Later when I got back, much to my disappointment, the GX-01R's Jet Scrandler had a broken front antenna and no waist clip. Moreover, both rocket punches had missing springs. Fortunately, another shop in Taipei sold a c10 condition GX-01R inside a c7 box. I paid NT$2,500 (75 USD). It's just part of the frustration with buying SOCs in Taiwan and Hong Kong. It's sometimes a matter of luck when purchasing SOCs. I mean, I don't mind paying money to get something decent for my collection, but there are dealers who think otherwise and don't hesitate selling problem SOCs. I stick with average price dealers whom I'm familiar with. Anyway, I think I'll buy a GX-01R Reissue. I'm just worried about where I can store my other sets with the limited space in my room. BTW, there's a difference with the stickers in front of the SOC boxes. One dealer told me that the small Toei/Dynamic sticker says that the SOC is approved for the Japanese market. Any of the SOCs missing the sticker on the box didn't pass inspection. Which means it might have some slight defects in paint or other parts. The only exception is the GX-24 (Tetsujin 28) which has no stickers for both the Japanese and overseas market. I hope this helps.

what i i found out from a dealer was that any chogokin's box that suppose to hv a sticker & do not hv, they are either smuggled from the factory direct to hk from china...those that been mentioned are about 20-30% cheaper & those that hv stickers are actually been flown back to japan to hv it's box sticked and export to our countries, that the reason why it is a bit ex........ or what roboto hv mentioned (didn't pass inspection)...

The price difference between the box sets with and without the stickers is almost half the price of one set. I bought a GX-24 (Tetsujin) that's supposed to be a "Hong Kong Edition" (a term for the non-sticker box sets in Taipei) for NT$1,600 (49 USD). I'm not complaining. I'm very satisfied with the product.
Yeah, I heard one dealer mention that some PX-01 (Hover Pilder) sets have botched paint jobs. They're the ones sold without stickers on their boxes.
BTW, is anyone selling boxes with Toei/Dynamic stickers out there?
PS: Hong Kong Edition also means the SOC's sold specifically for the Hong Kong SAR's market. (BTW, that's "Special Administrative Region". It's funny with the name...)
