I hope bandai doesn't overdo the SOC Eva collection by releasing all the R versions of SOC Eva!

Sure they will. Its called the non-metalic "anime correct" versions. ;D

I was a big Eva fan at some point, but kind of died down the pass few years. So just got myself a Eva 01 when it came out. The SOC Eva 01 was great, but something about it did bug me quite a bit. The stand looks nice & resembles the hanger in the anime, but why not make it fit the figure? I can never position the figure nicely to have the shoulder rest on those slots on the stand. And it doesn't hold every accessory either, leaving some in the box instead. And the joints on the legs & ankle get loose easy. I don't even try posing him much anymore waist down, worrying the joints get too loose to support the weight. Of course, the loose jaw too. But overall, the stand bugs me the most. Its just a few piece of plastic, but they couldn't do it right, while the whole thing diecast, and they designed it beautifully. Beats me.

I just completed my entire EVA collection! I love them all, I especially like Purple as his head, body, and weapons are pretty unique (unfortunately the other EVA's weapons are fairly similar with one another).

I'll be posting pics of them when I get off my lazy butt in order to 'convert' some of you other guys who are on the fence.
