I hate the Mazinkaiser elbow. Its one of the reason I rarely take him out & play with it. Its prone to multiple paint chips, & supporting too much diecast for a non-ratchet elbow. Everytime you try to bend the arms, you need to extend it, bend it, then push it back for it too not look "wrong". Very annoying. A very bad move for using it on this New Getter.

It's not a totally bad move since we're still speculating if it IS a similar joint on the Mazinkai, or if it is an improved, sturdier, or even ratcheted joint. IMO,it would have been more feasible to use the same joint system they used for the Shin Getter One (Armageddon version). A joint slot on the forearm wouldn't have hurt the over all look.

I'll tell you guys whats wrong with this figure! 1- the arms are really long !! if they just shrink the forarme that will be better. 2- the mazinkaiser elbow thing!! what I hate about it that it dosn't allow a better looking poses!! like even the stand up pose! the arms shouldn't be that straight! they should have a little bent at the ellbow. 3 the multiple fists!! they lack of dynamic poses!! that what make bandai stand out in their S.O.C line! the take care of evry single tiny thing !! and the poses of their figures usually are amazing!! that ads a lot to your pose! we all saw the new getter OVA and you can see that it is a prety dynamic robot!! that is my openion .... but over all I beleave I am getting it

Neo Getter One Trainer, and now the Shin Getter 2004. ...gawd I hate this hobby...

Hey Omni, who's the girl in your avatar? That's not your girlfriend is it . As for the new Shin Getter figure, I'll admit it's a little monkey armed but I'll still get it and you know as soon as you pick it up, the weight of the diecast will make you love it. Now the problem is figuring out which one to get, the silver/dark red or white/ red.

Hi chen!!!I'm curios too about the girl in the avatar of Omni ;DI agree with you about these Getter models and their monkey arms and the beloved quantity of metal.Probably Aoshima tried to recreate the design of the anime, where the arms are long and the legs are very bulked.About the choise of the version,I ordered the normal one, because it is the version with the original colours

Chen, Koji K, How I wish she was my girlfriend. She's a starlet here in the Philippines. Something of an "idol" in J-Pop culture. ...that's enough of that, now, back on topic guys! ;D

Hmmm... Green chest- standard red and white [flat-looking] paint, while the one with the light blue chest has metallic red and pearl-white paint... ...I hate Aoshima sometimes....

What I just noticed was that the regular version has the same colour scheme as Getter One, while the limited one has Getter Dragon's.

Maybe the white/chrome model was made only in order to show which parts are in lastic and which in metal...maybe...I remember Aoshima shows photos of his models with evidenced parts in metal and plastic (I remember the photo of Mazinkaiser)
