hello guys I started to purchase 1 SOC last year which is the gx-01R then got gx-02 (but is loose and has no box) after a few months. It is just this week that I started buying the past SOC toys. I got GX-10, GX-11, GX-12, GX06M and GX-24. Man these toys are really cool even if it cost a lot.
I am surfing earlier at ebay and notice that the gx-10 boss borot is going to be realeased again also the gx-06 and the gx-03 is this true?? If the gx-06 is going to released again then damn... the colored version is what i really wanted.
Also want to ask if doublas and garada are from what anime? the old mazinger anime or the new mazinger angels?

GX-10 was re-released last month while GX-03 was re-released sometime ago, 2003?. I haven't heard that GX-06 was going to be re-released but Bandai is re-releaseing GX-01R, also all the Evas are being re-solicated in this months Previews. Doublas M2 and Garada K7 are from the original Mazinger Z series. They were in the first episode and were the first robots Mazinger Z fought. They re-appeared in the Mazinkaiser OVA series. Also welcome to the board !

Thanks for such info. Right now i wanted to get a gx-03 priced at $140 in the store just got the gx-12 a few hours ago at $53. Also saw a gx-19 at $90. These are from different toy stores. So which should I get first the gx-03 combatler V or the gx-19 getter liger? Why is it that the gx-19 price jump too high??? any ideas?
Man all these Robots making my wallet empty....

As Chen pointed out, the GX-03 was re-released last Dec. 2003, and the GX-10 last month if I am not mistaken. As for which to get first, get the GX-03. You'll get more bang from your buck. There are still a lot of GX-19 Getter Lygers floating around the web, while the Combattler is steadily rising in price in spite of it's re-release late last year. ;D

I'm pretty sure even though SOC Garada and Doublas are from the original series, they're releasing them as part of the "Mazinger Angels" series. Just a hunch though

I'd agree with Omni, I'd get GX-03 first since they have already released it twice and that will probably be it. Com-Battler is also alot more playable anf has loads of gimmicks.
Also as Fugly pointed out Garada and Doublas will make an appearence in the new Mazinger Girl Manga.

It is kind of late to collect SOCs now, I started 2 years ago and spent hella much money/time caught up, right now i suggest you just collect the ones that you like.

If you want to pick up some good SOC's at decent prices, rx79msg has quite a few for sale in the for sale section.

Funny i saw some gx-02r as well.
I know that its kinda late for SOC collecting but here are the list of how much i paid for each...
gx-01r - $68 gx-02 (loose no box some missing parts) - $45 gx-06m- $100 gx-10 - $47 gx-11- $31 gx-12 - $54 gx-24 -$ 54
Tell me are the prices just enough or is it too expensive??
If I just have enough money I can have the gx-03 and gx-19. I just hope that the store still have the gx-03 they told me that its there last one... YIKES!.....
Aside from that i want the garada, doublas and minerva MA robots. Now if only i can find a gx-08. Guess it will be too expensive, might just settle for the MA version.
...Oh please old Genie of the lamp make me rich!

I could live without the zillion different editions of Mazinger- one or two is OK, but I'd sure like to see that deluxe Grandaizer set, GX04S, released again. Every one I see on e-bay is over $300. US- too much! JWM

(awfull by their standards) Anyway, the re-release of the BPX/GX-01 leads me to think that it is cheaper for them to re-release old successful large sets (ala Aoshima) than to develop new ones from not so "hot'" properties (see Zambot) Lets play wait and see...

If bandai ever releases the GX-04S, I doubt we'll get it for anything cheaper than what it's current market value is at ($280-to-$300).

To speculate on the GX04. I spoke to my local store where I buy some of my chogokin and he has told me that Bandai is in fact releasing it again this December or early next year and he has some on order.
I wait with baited breath and have no reason to doubt this info as he is very reliable. Also he quoted me that he will be selling it for around CAN $300 to $350 range.
I always take news with a grain of salt but, he has never been wrong before.
Cheers ;D

Here's wishing that your supplier will have a tongue of an angel!, and we'll see a GX-04S in December!
