Anybody see a possible daiku body Bandai might sell to fix that head of gaiking to? A source of mine indicate that originally they were getting the gx-05 with a sticker of 198000 yen. then they released the gx-05 at 98000 yen. Makes you wonder if they havent already had this big size daiku and gaiking long in the works......

Sweet mother of mercy... I can't wait!!! man. (But i think I will still pick up Daikumaryu tommorow!) I guess we won't know if theres a larger Daikumaryu .. until we get a good look at Gaiking (maybe thats why they didn't show the back?? I wonder if theres a locking mechanism)

Honestly I do not believe in a larger Dakiumaryu.
The price such a thing would command would be unthinkable - much much mor ethan the SOP yamato ( Again, if they release it - I am there).
The SOC Gaiking sure does loke like an Instant classic.
I belioeve it will roughly be as tall as teh Getter Gs and Grendizer right?
An inscale Gaiking should be as tall as Masterpice prime, right?

Well I think practically. Gaiking will follow around the same height as G, Grendizer or Mazinger (that standard size.. probably not much bigger or smaller). Besides if they made Gaiking as big as Prime.. Dakiumaryu would be in a huge scale that I'm sure would be out of price range for a lot of people. Already I'm thinking about the size comparison... and Dakiumaryu is FRICKIN HUGE!!!! I really hope they do make a large version.... (easily larger then dancougar!) I

Well, here is hoping as the new soc gaiking does have a daiku following it. As speculation, imagine that transformation head going into a huge body!!! You never know..... Plus, bandai is extremely good at milking the consumers for more money, so please milk us out of our misery....

Nice!! The first Super Robot with a beer belly If T-28 counts as an SR, I think he takes the record of the "first" SR with a potbelly. ;D

Thanks Koji. Awesome pictures. Personal Conclusions: 1) Could Gaiking be the ONE (to dethrone Grendizer I mean) 2)he disaseembles into the three ships/parts. 3)He has both regular and pumped up arms and legs. 4) His face armor can be disassembled (no joke with Marvel Comics intended) This baby boy is going to be a Gem. If he comes with diecast Nesslar, skylar and the other robot, ala Getter Ships, then we are probably in for the greatest SOC ever!!

Lanmandragoran: Good points. I've said it before, but this does raise the possibility of a big Daikumaryu. The GX-04S goes for over three hundred bucks, and people are still falling all over themselves to get it. If I had a chance to throw that much for a big metal dragon I'd jump at it. But it would have to be METAL- not ABS with metal features. JWM

But it would have to be METAL- not ABS with metal features. JWM I agree entirely. A large Dakiumaryu would be unbelievably cool !!! As tall as MP Prime, but with the length of the Yamato... They could even use all the blueprints for the smaller one, just re-escale it and build new moulds. I would saay that all diehard collectors would pay between 250-300 dollars for it. The SOP Yamato and the aforementioned complete grendizer are here to prove it.
