Hey guys... I am just really curious... How much do you think you have spent on your SOC collection so far? I believe that I have spent about $3,500+ (this includes gifts from my spouse and one awesome gift from a friend). Though I do have all of them (up to GX-26, Mazinger Angles, hangar and the Mazinger head and ship), I do not collect the black and white or the special edition versions. Thanks.

I don't have all of the SOC line, and concentrated on the Nagai bots only, and a couple of combiners (Combattler, and Zambot 3).
My SOC collection amounts to about US$1500. If we include the Aoshima Shin Seiki Goukins, about US$2,500.
.... dang! I never really thought about it, but with that amount, I could have made a downpayment for a good condition second hand car....

I would've paid off all the interest on my car loan in half the time.
I too only collected Nagai bots in the SoC line-up. So I think I must've spent around $1500 (that's just a guess). But that's just a fraction of my toy collection since I do own several other gokin-style 'bots. For a while, I was collecting DX toys from Power Rangers. And I currently also collect imported non-robot figures too.
I really have no idea what I'd claim if I were to get it all insured...

Wow I took a moment to just do a rough tally of how much my meager collection cost me. $3500. Yikes! And still counting. I realise that it is just a drop in the bucket for some members here but I had never really thought of the cost until now.

i've spent $3,440CAN since 1997 to collect 1-26 without getting any variations except the GX-01R
This is pretty dead on accurate as I have an on going "toy inventory" done up in an excel spreadsheet I take a minute or so to enter it when I first get it. Am I a freak or what?
I've spent way more overall in the span of 97-05 and counting maintaining my little toy museum. I'm just sick and probably need help one day I'll probably just sell everything the wife would definately love that.

Hello LurkerX. Is it generally cheaper to buy SOC's in Canda vs. the U.S.? I spent about $3,500, U.S. Dollars.

Hehehe ;D. ronin777, best laugh I've had all day. I'm with him...My wife feels bad when she spend $50 on "girly" things, if she only knew...put it this way one stop at Kimono My House is a good $600, that's monthly plus eBay and Mail Order and that's since 1995 when my adult collector day started...

Wow, Kimono My House... I am from San Francisco and so I use to frequest this cool store. I got my Getter Liger there last year. Though I live in Boston now, I visit SF a lot because of work and family.
