Mods, this should complement the other SOC guide. May be a good idea to make this a sticky. It should prevent all the, "What gift came with GX-31?" questions.

Hong Kong version of GX-07 came with pewter Sayaka Yumi. There's a picture of the box in the SOC timeline. Chen, I think this is a Japan version not HK....will check...

Yeah, it was a Toy Dream exclusive not a HK version.

The extra items are just an add-on and are sold separately. The weird thing is that every gift I've ever got, we all stamped "Not to be sold separately" "Not for Resell", but sure it enough, it was sold separately!

It's finally out! The Gx03 reissue Combattler V Hongkong item. A clear "candy color" repaint of the old Eternal Force/Super Robots in action Combattler V. I thought it would never come out, the Gx03 reissue was already released last month. the figure stands approximately 4 inches tall I have no idea how the stand is supposed to work on the figure but I tried to make the most of it as an accessory for the Chodenji Yoyo. Battle Guelleger(not really sure if I spelled that right) Chodenji Spin There's also a "Big Blast" bomb accessory but I don't think it can fit in any where. Special thanks to Greattoysonline as usual for reserving me the item. Gold

Not exactly a legit SOC item but I figured might as well post it since it's really cool The "Soul" Gx31 diecast Tenkuken (the one on the left is the "default" plastic sword that came with Voltes) Thankfully Voltes can support the heavy sword. You just have to carefully balance it right and not abruptly release your supporting grip on the sword otherwise the arm will come swooping down(regardless of the shoulder ratchet joint, given the right momentum). Please also note that in all the pics, Voltes is slightly tipped backwards to balance his center of gravity, no way can he hold the sword forward and not topple over from the weight. The fist seems to hold the diecast sword's weight Let's try it left handed... He can also do the "lighting" pose while holding it. Dual sword style Hehe, Combattler's not the only one with the dual blades anymore now is he? ;D finally box comparison shot with the Gx03 "legit" diecast twin lancer, the "Soul" Tenkuken box is bigger and thicker. Just a headsup, I recently acquired a second Gx03 diecast twin lancer from a local shop here in Manila(thought of replacing my old one), when I got home I realized that there the foam inside was different. The original foam was well cut out and the foam material itself was more like solid rubber on the original. The new one's foam felt like spongy foam. (the original 1999 item is on top) The print of the box was different was well(lighter shade), I'm not sure if there has been a "legit" reissue of the Lancer in Hongkong or if this was a mass produced bootleg/customized item from China. The quality and finish of the diecast Lancer itself was on par with the original though. So it's not half bad. Gold

Nice review Gold! Here's comparison shot between the candy colored HK gift item of reissue Combattler and the Eternal Force Combattler. box size is the same... but layout and box information is different... Combattler HK Gift item Eternal Force Combattler ... combattler's name is written in Japanese while the Eternal Force is in english close-up Back If ever Bandai comes out with SOC Raideen, there are two possible HK gift item... ... the first one might be a candy-colored version of Super Robots in Action Raideen Front Back ... or a black version Eternal Force Raideen... Front Back

Do you think guys this HK item of Combattler for the reissue GX-03 and Daiku Maryu Gaiking for the reissue GX-05 Daiku Maryu is worth buying at 1.2k a pop?

that really depends on you... if you are into limited edition stuff, then i think it is safe to say that PHP1,200 (approx. $22.75) is ok... take note that the only way to get this item is getting a reissue SOC combattler. Personally, i dont want to buy another SOC combattler just to get the HK item. Greattoys was kind enough to break the set and sell the HK gift item alone... ... btw, SRP for the original colored SRIA combattler is (approx)PHP700... and that was several years ago... you have to factor in inflation rate and shipping cost... ;D Do you think guys this HK item of Combattler for the reissue GX-03 and Daiku Maryu Gaiking for the reissue GX-05 Daiku Maryu is worth buying at 1.2k a pop?
