I've always liked the hi-tech design. I just didn't like the stand. But that's starting to look like less and less of an issue. Yeah!

Xio, after seeing Vic01's pics, I also believe that the stand is not really an issue anymore, least with the Solar and Luna. In the end, patience is indeed a virtue.

Thanks for the pics. How many versions of this are there? I got the first one, but this one is different right?

Solar Aquarion is really worth for displaying, next is the Aquarion Luna. No problem about the pics! BIGFIRE: BTW, i didn't get what you mean that you have the first one. This is the first one that was released. The newest one is the Assault Type/ Force Attack Aquarions.

vic - Now that I have my Forced Attack Aquarion I almost can't believe you got these poses to actually work without a stand. Most especially with the Luna/Delta mode. From my first go around I couldn't get any pose from my Delta without using the stand for support. And I'm really surprised you were able to have the legs of the Solar/Alpha spread apart like that without the ratchet giving way into the splits. I noticed you posed your figure on styrofoam, which is a good idea to get more traction, but still, you must have spent sh*tloads of time getting these poses to balance.

Hehe, thanks for the heads up! Yeah, the styro helps a bit while im posing my Aquarions in different stances. Also, leaving the figure on spread legs and stances is not really acceptable because it will really fall down w/ a slight move. Oh, about the Luna, it's really hard to make it stand because of the joints of the ankle/feet. I'll try to take some pics w/o the styro, so that i'll know if it can stand on its own, at least for a while, ;D Good for you Xiombarg! Im still waiting for my Assault Type! Can't wait to take some pics and do some posings but I ope I will have a good finish figure. Im really into Aquarion despite of its flawness.

Based on my Aquarion, Luna can stand on its own (wow), and the most stable pose is when the back pack/wings are close. I think I got a thight ankle for the Luna (vector sol part) w/c is very crucial for Luna to stand up. The only problem I have is the left ratchet of the groin. It's a little bit loose compared w/ the right one, sad. Thanks! vic01 (Sorry for the pics, I just took the shots only w/ a lamp, my parents were sleepin, don't wanna bother them zzzz.)

Awesome pics man! Really. I think your pics of Aquarion are the best I've seen at showing what you can get out them in poses, not to mention how cool he looks. That reminds me of one thing I've noticed with my Assault Aqurion is how tough he looks on the shelf with other robots. The fact that he's big and really technical looking really gives him uber presence in the line up.

Yes, these are the best pics ever! Absolutely stunning!
I like the real-color look of Assault Aquarion but I like the original one more. Looks like I'll be saving some money on this one.

Thank you so much Xiombarg and Howieh! But you have to know I did little patience to pose Aquarion Alpha, because of its huge canon, hard to posed it so much. I like the knee joints of Alpha (it's the Omega part) Very tight than the original. Last time, I dropped the aquarion on the desk, man I was shocked! I thought some of the parts will be broken, but they are all intact. I was too nervous it slipped on my hands . If im gonna choose w/c one I prefer, I go with Assault. But dont get me wrong, I also like the original, but because of the color, I sticked w/ Assault.

You do have to have patience in posing him, but after a little bit of experimenting I felt safe putting him on the shelf without his stand in his "A" frame stance. I never could get Delta to really stand up on his own, at least not with his back section attached, but I'll have to try it again some time.
I've been critical of Aquarion, but he really is an incredible robot. I've had a hard time trying to figure out what robots to put him next to on the toy shelf because he has this overpowering presence. I had to move him away from Voltron and Black Getter because of this. Still, I have to say that wish Bandai would have put joints in Aquarion that were as heavy duty as those in the Fewture Black Getter. If they would have done this Aquarion could have been my TOTY.

Nice! By the way where did you get those three stands in the Vector ship's picture. Thanks Chen! The stands came from the FFVII AC action figs. Also the upcoming FFVIII and X got this too. It can be used w/ any figures, such as SOCs, Gundam Model kits (Im using the four of them on my MG Gundams), but I wanna try the Yamato stand for Valks to be used for the aquarions, hehe! Planning to get one more Assault if I see a lower price though.

Xio, you moved the Black Getter away from Aquarion?! It is because the aquarion can't handle the presence of the Ryoma! Hehe! ;D If I have that Black Getter, I will display it side by side w/ my Aquarion.

Vic, Best picts of Aquarion ever seen and best picts of any toy so far, i know that you had to be patient cos is really hard to possed them as u really wished for, congratulation man!!!!
