With the RAIDEEN SOC GX-039, you'll need to buy Triples!
That's Two GX-039 original anime colored figures,
and a GX-039 Gold version.
This could raise the Raideen SOC's collection value...
Why?
3 reasons:
1> ordinary Robot mode display
2> Godbird mode display
and 3> a GX-039G...
...remember, in the tv series, when Raideen is dormant
he is encased in Gold until he summons Akira
for robot activation duty.
Therefore, if Bandai really wants to maintain Fan Loyalty
to their toyline, Bandai is bound to stay true to the tv series
and make a GX-039 Gold version, if they're gonna
take on the Raideen robot as a SOC figure.
Haha! TOUCHE', Bandai-- Gotcha! ;D

A black version is pretty much a must, as well. The black version of his likeness has been done in almost every release of the character.

Them blueprints look Badass!!! I love the engineering, already!!! It reminds me of Mazinger-Z's blueprint scenes at the end of the episodes! <LOL> I guess the head won't be articulated because of the robot's design, with that face-shield in the way. But, hey, that's why Raideen has FOUR eyes! ;D Looks like the figure Can and Will be poseable into godbird mode! Next, I hope Bandai can do something about his weapons: the God Gogun (bow and arrow), God Missile, God Shield/Boomerang/Breaker blade; and Akira's bike! This will be the best SOC addition to my collection since my GX-01R!!! ;D zozo-Magengar |

That jet-fighter profile in Godbird mode just draws me in...!  It also looks like he has "double-action" joints like MFGodannar? As far as articulation, he's alway struck me as a more "stoic"-looking robot anyway...instead of the more "acrobatic" type..so it'll probably work out fine..!! But there does look like there's a lot of engineering in it..so who knows?! Either way..I can't WAIT to see more pics!! Thanks, Nickodiablo! |

That little thingy in the upper right corner of the pic looks like his face is hinged at the jaw... (A separate hinged face accessory?) ...as if to simulate Raideen's "screaming" mode?  AWESOME!!!!!!!! ZOZO-mAGENGAR |
