Really nice, I hope my friend can get this for me!! It is under Mazinger Angels Series!? I don't think this is under the Maz angel series. Its under the 40 years of Go Nagai event. Is the gx-07i same as gx-07e only with different box? I am confused..... No...there are slight differences. The GX07I has chrome, the iron cutter accessories, and an extra bike. Plus you can only get this by mailing a coupon in a manga.

already out in a consignment store here in Tokyo The Limited Mazinger Angels GX-07I Iron Z is also being sold at a few toystores and by online resellers here in Taipei. I managed to purchase two sets at two different stores. Both boxes were sealed on one side with double tape and seem to be about to burst. There's only so much space in the small, slender box to squeeze in all the accessories and the GX-07I Iron Z, which is much heavier compared to the GX-07 Mazinger Z OVA Version and GX-07E Energer Z. Anyway, I'm unsure if only the sets sold in Taiwan have double tape since they could have gone through customs inspection. On another note, I think the production of the GX-07I was rushed; the quality in terms of paint application isn't the same as the previous GX-07 releases. However, the addition of diecast thighs really adds weight to this SOC. In any case, if you missed out on the limited GX-07E Energer Z, then I suggest you get the GX-07I Iron Z, especially if you like your robot toys to have lots of diecast. This release also comes with two motorcycles and Iron Cutter forearms. Here are some photos of the GX-07I Iron Z that I also posted on my blog. BTW, if your computer is somehow unable to access the photos, then please wait. I'm using a free Geocities web page account, which limits hourly data transfer usage to 4.2MB. The Mazinger Z Angels manga that came with a coupon to order the Limited GX-07I Iron Z.

How much do these cost in the Taiwanese hobby shops? The GX-07I a little under US$100. Some shops include the Mazinger Angels Z manga with the price. I bought my first set for NT$2,650 (US$87), which included the manga. However, my second set from a different shop cost NT$2,800 (US$92) and didn't include the manga.

Since my one of my favorite SOCs is the GX-07, I do not mind more of the same . The articulation, sculpture, and articulation of the GX-07# figures are awesome.

My first Soul of Chogokin was GX-12 Venus A, then I bought the GX-07 Mazinger Z OVA Version. Likewise, it's my favorite SOC Mazinger Z. On the other hand, I haven't bought the GX-01R+ yet. I think it looks good with the new head sculpt, so it could become my favorite SOC Mazinger Z. I'm waiting to purchase it for less than the current online resellers prices after Bandai offers it at the Tamashi Nation Exhibit in Taipei, Taiwan in August.

I had my energer Z for quite some time but didnt have the time to open it. Aren't the thighs on energer Z die cast? Or is it just the painting in the Iron Z thats chrome?

Energer Z has the same plastic thighs as the original GX-07. The Iron Z has the diecast thighs of the GX-01R.

Just got my Gx-07i. Here're some comparison pics. Box Comes with everything shown. Bikes (Iron Z comes with two bikes actually, the other is the female pilot, Kikunosuke Abashiri) Comparison with the Energer Z. (Iron Z on the left) Energer Z's non-chrome parts actually have a bluish finish, while the Iron Z's non-chrome parts are more yellow. I almost had a heart attack when I opened up Iron Z and couldn't find the Iron Cutters. Turns out they were taped to the bottom of the Display base in the box (along with Kikunosuke Abashiri) and didn't have their own accessory tray. LOL ;D Bandai just keeps churning them out. ;D (Gx-07, Gx-07i, Gx-07E) A word to the wise, DO NOT[/i] attempt to reset the sticker. I made a mistake, planted the sticker to the display base slightly slanted and ried to peel off the sticker to re-align and this is what happened: The sticker turned white!!! I think a layer of it must've detatched underneath (it's a foil sticker). Man... This never happened before with other SOC stickers even when I tried to reset them. I'll try to write to Bandai through a friend in Japan and see if they can send a spare. D'oh! Gold
