Hey Joydivision, i feel afraid when i read that, you need to mail again until he answer. Does anybody get the Black Getter already from Popsalute ? The best you can do is just wait it out. My bet is that you will get it, but some sellers take more time than others. In some cases sellers only go the post office like once a month and mail a hundred items all at once if they are running a lot of auctions. So hold tight guys.

But Omni all toy robots are impractical.......you can say that it makes a handy paper weight or a pencil holder since it does have articulate hands....just get it already its simply amazing I’ve had mine since the 7th to date its still can’t put it down. This is probably one of the BEST releases this year.
I know its been overdone enough on this thread already but here are my impressions:
Detail: The amount of detail on this thing is simply mesmerizing, from it’s “endo-skeletal” face & chest, its whirling arm sprocket, removable gut & “exo-skin” face, chest & abdomen to its over all exterior sculpting detail of “exhaust pipes” and other mechanical enhancements like a cylindrical translucent green tube to insert in his lower gut, its a bloody 3D eye “fiesta” For someone quite detail oriented as I am by nature, I’m loving all of it. It’s the most intricately detailed toy I own.
The “endo” detail reconciles the nice mesh of inner organic to the exterior robotic frame balancing the overall image the piece emits.
Accessories: I don’t like the cape and accompanying muffler gimmick. The cape is cumbersome awkward to display as it makes the piece rather tipsy. The muffler?....I just don’t know, I find it hard to accept that a robot could get cold...but if he’s part organic maybe, i just think it looks better without both. The “wolverine” claws and the axe with “bike” brake hand guard wasn’t too impressive either, i thought it was too garish. However, I do like its arm blades I like the way the blades were angled it felt more “animated” that way. I though the removable of the round metal plates served no purpose I would’ve preferred they glued it. The stand is ok my only beef with it is that the adjustor cap to tighten the stand’s grip on the getter has a tendency to “rub” against the lowest metal plate and if your not careful....so long MIB classification.
Quality:
Its quality rivals [but does not exceed] that of aoshima. The finish is quite good overall. I didn’t like the upper arm’s grey molded plastic revealing some color warping that generally comes with molding plastic but that’s just nit-picking. The clicking joints were abundant although not in the same level as the clicking sounds that emits from SOC or MF but rather aoshima’s.
Comparing this the MF mazinkaiser? is a tough one as I believe they’re equal, what this lacks in quality it more than makes up for in design, detail and creativity mind you it really doesn’t fall behind in quality when compared to MF Maz. just short. I’m just glad I don’t have to decide.

Lurker X - I'm with you on almost everything you said. I didn't like the whole cape and muffler thing at first, but they really grew on me after I got the figure. I agree with you on the axe and the claws. I mean, they are ok, but they don't have the unique cool of the arm blade weapon, which is very cool.
I had a hard time trying to accurately describe the quality also, because it not like it lacks in any way, but it's not completely refined either. Compared to MF Mazinkaiser, I like the Black Getter more, but again I'm not sure if the quality of the joints is on the same level.
Actually there is one thing that I wish would have been done a little better. I wish the ratchet joint on the front portion of the foot was stronger. There is so metal on this guy, and he's so heavy, that this joint should have been made stronger in order to hold some poses.

This is probably one of the BEST releases this year. Impractical in the sense that the price is about the same amount I make in a month. I can save for it, sure, but it's still beyond my expense limit on toys. I'd like to keep my expenses to $150 or under, every month.

hey guys, this getter really looks cool and well made. but the only thing limiting me is that this gokin is not base from any getter design in the anime/manga. it is hard for me to accept it as a getter because there is no "historical" background.

To me this Getter is more of a design study and doesn't have the "provenance" of other Getters that are "backed" up with an Anime or Manga, kinda like a concept car. But either way it's still a great looking figure, but if Fewture wants it to be more than a novelty their gonna have to release the main three mechs soon.

xiombarg: What I noticed with the ratcheting joints of the Blk gettter was that it makse the sames sound and feel as that of the aoshima releases. It's clicking but not quite as "pingy" as the SOCs or the MF. Its sort of a subtle soft plasticy "ping" just like the aoshima Shin Getter I have. The SOCs has the best most crisp "ping" but having said that the MFs are significantly tighter [which i really like better]. _____________________________________________________________________ What ruined the axe for me is the "bike-brake handle-like" detail, incorporating such an ordinary, common, house-hold none war-like, none aggressive accessory like that in its design just makes it look rather ridiculous....and the wolverine claws made it look too commercialized, too "marvel comics" mind you it still looks better than the axe. maybe the cape & muffler grow on me and ill put it on once I permanently display it in my glass case for now I like handling it alot as well as putting the skin on & off to see details over and over again so these two items makes it rather cumbersome to hold. by far that's my favorite gimmick

It *is* based on a getter from an anime. Black getter 1 from the first shin getter robo series. It's heavily tweaked, just as the other 3 getters will be from what theyre based on, but the black getter's key features (long arm blades, tattered cape + muffler, coloration) are there.

yeah ataru, the distinguishing characteristics are there, even the silhouette. but pardon me, i just feel that it is a ryoma black getter from an alternate universe.

mannyD:
How about this, you know at the end of the Shin Getter series shin getter went into some "dimensional" portal where it saw other getter teams headed i guess to fight an "unending" battle for good you could say that the blk getter is one of those getters in that dimension.

I love the black cape... in Shin getter... first intro.. its a mysterious mech. Doesn't change into getter 2 or 3... and it has presence!
