I finally got the very rare Green Metallic variant and Gold Variants of the Genesic Gaogaigar from Maxfactory. First off big thanks to Sphexish to the leads on how to get one of each and thanks to Greattoys for the helping me get these abroad! Thanks RoanStalker Oribtron, I got them for roughly 200US$ each(not inclusive of shipping and 8% California sales tax) from Amazon, lucked out and found a seller with both in stock. Nice pics and congrats!! I should really get to display mine someday soon! Your pics are definitely an inspiration! Hey Thansk DME3O, but I have to warn you, there is a chance that the rotator for the arm of the Green may break, you have to be extremely careful, a friend of mine opened his and when he twisted the left arm, the joint snapped! Here's a pic of the location for reference(the one on my friend's is on the left side)  The weird part is the neck of the joint is diecast, we were quite surprised it broke with minimal force(he was just trying to rotate the arm to elbows facing forward position). He later tried drilling a hole and re-fastening the joint back into the block... seemed to work.. but it was weird.. Gold |

Glad to hear that it turned out ok. I have the gold Gaofighgar by Kotobukiya and it had a similar paintjob but the diecast on the lower Legs were painted a really bland yellow for some reason.

You know that's funny that you found these "in stock" when they've been out for so long. I bought my green version from a seller that had it in stock also last November and I thought it was strange then.. Great price though! I paid $220 and around $30 in shipping but the seller was here in the US also.
Nice pics. It's tough to beat the Max versions for display quality.

I can't believe I had the green one but returned it to the store, I got it as a gift but since I already had the regular version I gave this back and got a Thor statue instead. Now I don't have any of my Bowen statues left and my regular GGGG is the most broken figure I own.

The Green Metallic Finish on that GGGG looks waaaaayyy better than I expected!!!  Thanks for sharing those pics Mr. Gold. I can't believe I had the green one but returned it to the store, I got it as a gift but since I already had the regular version I gave this back and got a Thor statue instead. Now I don't have any of my Bowen statues left and my regular GGGG is the most broken figure I own. I don't know If I would have returned it, but then again since The Thor Movie is coming out soon (and my interest in him has increased) then I probably would have done the same thing too...
