Hey, sorry to bring up a dead thread, but I was looking for A CM GFG on eBay and some of them had limited edition on the box, whats the difference?

The limited edition figure comes from the set to build Gaogaigo. The set comes with -Gaigo -Gaofighgar -Pliers -GoldyMarg Star Upgrade parts -and a golden pewture figurine of Shishio Guy, the "limited" set is not to be confused with Brave Gokin 12 Gaogaigo, the "limited" set was released a year prior to Brave Gokin 12 and the limited set has the Brave Gokin Pliers included, whereas the Brave Gokin 12 does not have Pliers. The limited edition version has a dark shade of grey for the white plastic parts. Typical "let's reuse the molds and release a recolored figure" strategy from toy companies. I guess some Ebay sellers break up the set and sell the parts off individually (the units come packed individually in their respective first release boxes and bundled in a huge generic freight box). You can't do this with the Brave Gokin 12 I think since Brave Gokin 12 comes with everything in only one packaged/printed box. Gold

Actually I believe while Brave-12 comes in one huge box, inside that box are the individual boxes proper for the different toys, with the exception being the Stealth Gao II which comes in an unmarked white box, so it should be quite possible to break up the set if one wanted.
I didn't know the limited recolors were part of the Brave 12 set though. I thought they were part of the initial release. Kinda odd that the Brave 12 release which was already limited to 400 pieces would have an even MORE limited concurrant recolor release. You learn something every day, I guess.

Wow. That's a lot to pile into one box.
In other news, I bought Gaigo on sale from BBTS for $30... if nothing else it will allow me to display Galleon separate while still having a GGG on the shelf, heh.

Yes and I'm not 100% sure but it might have a bit of glitter on it as well ("metallic" finish?).
