Which one is the best and why? I can't decide...

From what I see I'd say Gaofighgar since it was made later and some say he's got some improvements for the Stealth Gao to fit better.

Gaofighgar for the look

I have both, but my preference goes out to the GaoFighGar. It is partially personal taste - I like the design of GFG and GGGG over just plain GGG - but also, as others have stated, the fact that CM's learned a few things about more secure gattai inbetween the two figures. Also, my main beef with the GGG - the way the manes tend to not want to stay flush with the lionhead - isn't an issue on GFG because its chest-design doesn't involve manes.

GFG it will be! I need to find a Goldion Hammer to go with it now...

I actually like my GGG over my GFG. GFG looks better for sure. But it loses almost all the ratchet joints GGG has, especially on the hips & knees where it needs them. Now that GFG doesn't have much ratchets, I rarely even bother to pose it since I don't want the joints to loosen up. For GGG, I don't need to worry about that.
GGGG looks the best out of the 3 IMHO, but again, its shoulders are a pain, as you need to disassemble them in order to pose (rotate) them. While GGG moves freely and locks nicely by ratchet joints.

If sturdy and impressive is what you are looking for, the GaoGaiGo is the one you should get.
Unfortunately, in order to "build" GaoGaiGo, you need the Stealth Gao from GaoGaiGar, the Power Up Set with the Ul-tech pods and parts for GaoGaiGar's Stealth Gao, and finally, the Drill Gao II, Liner Gao II, and GaoGaiGar's helmet from the GaoFighGar (included with the GaoFighGar). Of course, you also need the GaiGo mecha as well. After all, GaiGo is the core of GaoGaiGo.
So, bottom line is that you will need to get a GaiGo, a GaoGaiGar, a GaoFighGar, and the Power Up Set to have the GaoGaiGo.
CM's is an evil company!!!

I hate the design of Gaigo, so I'm sticking with GFG.

Gaofighgar for me. Unfortunately some of the joints are insanely tight on the CMS GFG (Linear Gao II and the connection ports for the forearms) Gold

I finally ended up buying Star Gaogaigar. I should receive it next week hopefully.
Is it possible to combine Gaigo with the Star GGG components or you really need the specific parts from GGG and GFG?

Couldn't they wait for the cartoon before releasing all the toys? Well... assuming the cartoon is forth coming anyway...

Does the set includes both Gaigo and the torso (forgot the name) of Gaofighgar? Could be interesting...
Also, do you know where to find GGGG?

Got my CMS Star Gaogaigar! A nice piece, although a bit flimsier than I thought. All the die-cast is in the lion, the rest is all plastic. Working rubber threads too. A lot of accessories. I wish it was as solid as the DX version. The hammer-tank dude is a bit flimsy and hard to pose in arm mode. But I still love it.

I read the text, and don't seem they made changes on Stealth Gao either. This set is limited to 400 pieces only, but really nothing new about it, other than mix and match old parts from previous sets. 28000yen is a lot, even though this box is going to be pretty huge. And partly because these toys are so huge (very wide compare to my other gokins), they all end up going back to their boxes for now. GGGG doesn't even fit the IKEA shelf I have.

I think the note is just to say that it specially includes the Stealth Gao from the star GGG set, since it wouldn't normally come with the boxed Go and GaoFighGar sets.
I want to want this set, but honestly can't make myself get ANOTHER CM's GGG fig. GaoGaiGar and GGGG take up a whole shelf by themselves, and yet another lookalike taking up space somewhere else... I don't really need.

Holy smoke. 2 per set. Talk about hardcore! And I already thought I was pretty hardcore on the GGG stuff, buying the CM's DX GGGG back then, then buying the 3 gokins following. I skipped Gaigo though. Didn't like the design much.

You have to see it in GAOGAIGO mode... it is quite impressive compared to the GGG, GFG, and GGGG.
