Seems to be in the same class as the CM's LODM Gaiking.

Will it be transformable? Bad news for those wanting a transformable one. it's not. it's from the same line as the CMS mecha action series non-transforming robots. just like the Dagwon & Goldran version previously released. Just look at the link posted by Hellric. when u see the pic of Dancouga Nova at the top left hand corner there's a wording in red "M.A.S". most likely that's an abbreviation of mecha action series. also if u notice in the translation i provided in my earlier post it did mention the word itself "mechanic action series''.

I think CMs Mecha Action figures are manufactured by Sunrise (which is the same manufacturer as the Max Factory Votoms BTW) and have been decent as action figures. I still think the Mecha Action Baangaan is one of the best action figure sculpts ever made.. but unfortunately that's all they are is plastic action figures.

I just want to clarify things abit but correct me if i'm wrong. i thought Sunrise is an anime production co (behind the Gundam series, Brave series among others) & not a toy manufacturer. Also as far as i can recall, any products i.e toys, model kits etc that are based on their stable of characters & made by other companies like Bandai, Takara or CMS will have a small sticker/label with the Sunrise logo on it. it's used to indicate dat it's a genuine Sunrise licenced product.

You might be right, but at the same time the only products I've seen with that little gold sunrise sticker have been PVC action figures, which I've assumed meant it was manufactured by Sunrise? I don't recall seeing those stickers on Gundam models or the DX Baangaan..etc?

Those tiny-weenie little stickers are not really visible at a glance. it's always pasted on the lower right side of the box itself. From what i've seen so far both the Takara Brave masterpieces (King Exkizer & Dragon Kizer) have those stickers, the Takara Brave Revival legends re-issue series & even the korean version of Brave toys made by Sonokong have it too .

I might get this one if the Max Factory Dancouga Nova will be too expensive for my tastes.

The one in the Robogeki link's last shot is the more recent GigaBrain Dancougar Final figure (Space Gokin 01) I think. I think it has diecast? The first Giga Brain Dancougar was PVC only.

It's the Great Impact Gurren Lagann. A fair amount of die-cast, but despite that it still somehow manages to be fairly light. They're running in the almost $300s and up in the aftermarket, though.

Wow, I'm surprised it's that tall! Most of the CMs Mecha Action Series PVC figures are only 5-6 inchers. Just curious though, does it come with the "Max God" mode head? I can't make it out on the pic. Congrats on getting one Tsloo501. Gold
