So have you gotten your Gundam Fix fix yet? Lord....these things flew under my radar for the longest time. I dig what I have seen so far. E If you haven't checked them out yet, here's a link (unsolicited) www.bigbadtoystore.com/gundamaf_menu.asp

I'm a bit shocked no one has replied to this thread.

I've got my fix and it only took a couple really. For all their undeniably good looks in the end they just weren't solid enough for me. I picked up the Deep Striker and one of the Zeta Plus models - both pretty big pieces. Once I'd got all the fiddly package undone and built them into the heftiest of their forms they've kind of just sat around. Most disappointingly is watching the inevitable droop form on one of Deep Striker's guns. I still think they look great and each time a new one comes out I'm tempted to get it (and the Zeonography almost drew me in again). However in the end I didn't really appreciate the materials used as much as I'd have liked. That's my thoughts on them anyway - I'd recommend getting a close up look yourself before you buy.

Fix looks good but playability and price are thrown out the window, that is what's keeping me from getting these.

I really like this series and own several of each model (since most are posable in different configurations.) While they are NOT perfect (I'd love for metal versions), they offer GREAT detail and are quite affordable. When compared to a transformer of roughly the same price, I think the Fix product offers more bang-for-the-buck.
$20.00 goes a long way with the Fix products in my mind.
If you like the Fix series, make sure to check out the Zeonography line as well. Same products under a different brand name. I already recieved sever Zakus and Doms from this series and have been very happy with them.
If you have any questions on them, shoot me a message. =)

I think that the FIX series figures look great, but agree that the materials used to construct them leave a lot to be desired. I'm just not a fan of PVC. I think of them as much fancier MSiA figures which are also primarily constructed of PVC for playability and safety. The paint jobs are much better than MSiA and the scale is different--1/144 for FIX and smaller than 1/144 for MSiA.

Strange, I seem to be the only fan of this series...BBTS, just sent me the latest one...I guess I can report to the list on it when it arrives.

I wish they'd make Arch-Enemy sized versions of these GFF's. Better materials, better size.
I'd easily plunk +$200.00 for a Deep Striker of that proportion. ;D

Did you get the HUGE Denebrium that was released a few years ago? Not the model, but the one made out of similar materials to Arch Enemy figures. I think I paid approximately $100 to get it from BBTS. Anyway, if not, this might fill that void. If not, I did see one at a local shop the other day.... Bill

I am a huge fan of the FIX and ZEONOGRAPHY lines. I've got one of each, but have yet to release any of them from their plastic prisons (waiting on an appropriate display case). I must say, the quality appears to be improving with each release, in terms of decals and details and I am particularly impressed with the Dom's!

Get the FIX FAZZ...that'll cure any desire to ever buy another one...

Yeah, I've heard that about the FAZZ. Detail-wise, FIX is about the best, with possible exception being several of the Arch Enemy Figures. Also think the 12" Collector's Series Wing Zero Custom is perhaps the best Gundam ever made!

Now I am so tempted to get one more fix fig - Deep striker. Is it worthy to buy for such a price. Any feedback would be appreciated.

In all honesty I'd have to say no... It's big and impressive, but it's not worth the price tag and in the end the cheap PVC materials just aren't good enough.
I'd recommend you spend that money elsewhere...

May I ask how much you spent on the deep striker? saw some bargains lately, wonder if they are re-issue version.
What about Fix 0017, any quality problem?

I guess I am the only fan of this series on the board. The details on these are AMAZING. Sure the material isn't perfect, but no toys are ever perfect.

i've always thought of the FIX as "glorified MSIAs" i'm ok paying $10-$20 for it but $40 and up? personally, i think they could have done better with the paint job in general seeming as they're charging a small fortune for them. i'm still rather tempted to purchase the FIX deep striker though. but for $90 + shipping from HK i just don't know i'd rather have the 1/400 white base and a set of 0079 1/400 gashapon.
i think the dxs gundams [byg-zam, 12" gundams, the armors etc.] have more quality than these will ever have.
