Do you mean the Metal Material (Chogokin) version? If so, I have many links for you to visit to find it.

Which version are you looking for? The Original Aile Strike (Active mode) or the Sword and Launcher Version (Deactive Version)? The former is pretty much hard to find while the second one is practically on sale here in Asia.

I have been browsing around,a nd have found that these stores have it- www.tisinc99.comwww.toysnjoys.comwww.akitoys.combut I read sale, in Koji's post!! ;D That always makes for interesting posting..I wouldn't mind the Sword and Launcher deactive mode one, as I haven't seen the anime yet..but all comments about this figure are good, and I like it...moreover, my Girl is paying for it, as a birthday present!! ;D please, share your wisdom!!

My comments: 1) On sale: I say this because I've noticed this on ebay for as little as US$32 from some HK sellers! I asked my local toy store about this and they said that HK sellers are unloading their stocks since demand for the toy was not as high as for the original MMM Strike Gundam. Apparently, hardcore fans were not too pleased with the "Deactive" color scheme. 2) Deactive vs. Active Color Schemes: The Active color scheme features the original red, white and blue Gundam colors fans are familiar with. On the other hand, the deactive color schemes features only navy blue, blue and white scheme. In the anime, the Active scheme is a special mode meant to protect the Gundam from standard weaponry. BTW, good luck finding the "Active" version. It's now more expensive than the "Deactive" even if the latter has more gimmicks.

check e-bay and yahoo japan. YJ would be the most likely place to get the regular Aile Strike. There's been a seller on e-bay that's been auctioning the limited edition clear armor sword/launcher gundam for around 65 US, which is about 50% of what it was going for a couple of months ago. This is a limited edition 'convention only' figure, and is likely to be quite sought after in the future once supplies dry up.

Someone is both the MMM Aile Strike and MMM Sword and Launcher Strike on eBay for about US$150! That would value the original Aile Strike at US$100!

That would value the original Aile Strike at US$100! ....or both close to their original MSRP at around $75. Valkyrie Exchange still has the Aile Strike at around $85 plus shipping. Its the one that's harder to find so I would go after it while its still around. Plus Kevin is very reliable.

BTW, How is the Plastic US version? Is this it? Does the armor come off and are they similar to the MM? I just need the armor parts. edit: added the URL to BBTS.

BTW, How is the Plastic US version? Is this it? The image link is to the 7.5" US Launcher Strike. Different size than MMM and is mostly plastic. Just ordered mine. It looks very nice.

well. this has been most informative- Thanks for the info, Koji..maybe I should try to see if one of the HK guys I bought from can get a good-priced MMM. The color info is interesting, and will keep it on mind-but the deactive mode colors...sound kind of nice, too.. John, I have noticed the "clear armor" and it sure as hell looks cool...but We are not in Miami now, so PayPal access is a no-go now, and the Lady wants to pay for the item herself, even when I tell her what to buy and where...that's other reason I am not ebay-hunting GDomino, so basically any price below $75.00 is a good deal? Will look into valkyrie-exchange- Rancemeister-BBTS is the old-standby...most probably, if I find nothing else soon, I'll probably go that way. a lot of thanks, people.in other boards a post like this would be either-- ignored or mocked thanks for the help and info!!

I put a ruler on my MM Aile Strike and MMM Turn A and both seem to be around 7.5" so I assumed this is the US version of the Strikes. Anyways, let me know how the armor turns out, whether they are removeable or not and or whether they will fit the regular MMs (I mentioned in another thread that I kinda butchered one of mine's torso armor when I was trying to add more posability to the waist).

Good luck finding a low-priced one. We are all collectors here. I don't see any point knock other collectors down. I try to help out fellow collectors when I can. Nothing feels as good as finding a great toy at a fair price... well, almost nothing. ;D ;D

True! It IS worth it, I guess, since it's the clear Ltd Version. But mine is so new, it hasn't even reached me yet. I won it on Ebay just four days ago. I guess I won't open it right away... let it age like a fine wine. I suppose the catch for those $65 Ltd Editions would be shipping would be $35 (don't pop my bubble!) ;D I also found an Aile Strike Gundam for $75 (+ $9 shipping) on eBay (buy it now) but it's only within USA.

I keep getting suckered in by these limited edition convention only recolors. I snagged the Kado Senshi Black Tri Stars zakus when they first came out..now they're going for $30 a piece. They were initally supposed to be limited to 1000 pieces, and distributed via lottery through some hobby magazine in Japan. Apparently, it was a different scheme in HK...same thing with the Kahen Senshi Zeta Green Divers colors. And the Titans Colors Kado Senshi Gundam. And the upcoming Kahen Senshi Titans Colors Zeta Gundam.
