WOW! Those look AMAZING!!! Did you use an airbrush for the shading? Or did you dry brush?

gundamrx78: Keep us posted on the PG Strike. I'm interested in this one. Mainly I want to know if the finished model has decent playability (unlike most PG's) JWM

Otaru: Thanks for the link. I checked the thread. Wow. The one thing he said that stuck with me is that the Strike feels more like assembling a toy than a model. That would be my best hope. I'd like to see a PG kit that would result in a toy that would actually be fun to mess with instead of a delicate shelf-sissy. gundamrx78: how would you judge the Strike so far?

Haven't bought one myself , still the engineering on this one is crazy, and price is far better than most PGs I've seen. It is hard not to resists. Im just hopefull (wishful thinking more like it) that Bandai would release this kind of engineering on their toy lines like the DX and MMM.

gundamrx78: Very nice. My Strike arrives tomorrow. Now that yours is assembled, how sturdy is the finished figure? And the zillion dollar question: is it a great improvement over the Zeta, the Zaku II, or the RX78? Do you still have panels falling off, arms sagging under the weight of weapons, and all that other stuff that makes PG models the mixed bag that they have been? JWM

Very nice so far! Are you going to add a little battle damage/weathering like your rx-78, or are you going to leave this one a little "cleaner"? Also I was curious if you used primer before you applied your base colors.
I WANT ONE!

JWM this is by far the best PG out there...the joints really holds well...no flimsy panels falling off and you can pretty much do any poses in which the other PG's are limited ( I have the RX-78,Zaku ,Zero Custom and Zeta)..
