Yeah, it looks much better. Thank the designer for the way he protrayed Strike Freedom, so that, that helps us to change our perception on it.

That kit just makes teh Strike Freedom look better! I like it in that form! The NG 1/144th kit and the MSiA look horrible!

i like that they made the double V fins look good instead of the yellow ones being longer than the white ones, plus the way the gold internals was painted is awsome.

Based on this design, Strike Freedom looks awesome and super! No wonder, it was called Super Freedom.

there were a couple posed shots of the anime drawn ones somewhere as well that didn't look too bad. Still think the top part of the wings look weird though... looks like those unnatural shoulder padding in suits and such.

I was looking at the pic again i juss noticed the decals on the wings...Gabriel, Michael, Raphael and Uriel. Nice connection between the ship archangel and the names of the four archangels

I have one little comment on the design of Strike Freedom especially, the abdomen large beam cannon. why the beam cannon is placed on its lower abdomen as it looks kinda weird. Imagine the laser beam fired from "stomach". I had watched many Japanese robot animations and in those animes, I noticed the powerful weapon is normally located on either the shoulders or upper abdomen (or chest) or at the back of the robot figure. Therefore, I am of the opinion that its beam cannon placed on the lower abdomen is not a brilliant idea, no matter it is very powerful.

I agree with that too... usually, any bulky or non-moving part on the abdomen area will hinder articulation. I can't imagine how would that gundam bend in any direction I think the cannon is there because they didn't want to move the cockpit from the upper torso and also wanted to avoid putting two cannons on each side of the cockpit... so that leaves only the abdomen if you want to put any kind of cannon on the torso... well, you could technically also put two cannons on each side of the abdomen, but that would totally kill the shape of the mecha... As for me, I'd skip torso weapons entirely... I like side waist, shoulder, arm, and backpack weapons better :-)

I wonder If this Strike Freedom is directly modified from the original Freedom in the anime? or Could anyone tell how the Strike Freedom would appear in the Seed Destiny show? Is Freedom somehow completely destroyed in the battle, therefore, Kira is given an upgraded version of Freedom, Stike Freedom? I was wondering that Freedom was in fact nearly 90% destroyed in the last war (ie. at the last end of the Seed series), I don't understand how it could possibly reappear in a perfect form (as good as its original) in Seed Destiny series without logical sense. Why they couldn't simply just upgrade it as so-called Strike Freedom in the first place in Seed Destiny series?

Well, since I wouldn't like Kira to lose any fight, I'm hoping they'll just upgrade the freedom :-P but that's just a personal wish :-P Maybe then they could release a PG Freedom with PG Strike Freedom upgrade pack... XD~~~ I guess we'll just have to wait and see.... ;-)

there are synopsis up for ep33~36 already; among other things, strike freedom is a new mech entirely. ID #s are ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom ZGMF-X19A Infinite Justice, signifying they are also ZAFT made. Just realized this was the spot that I saw the cel-shaded StrikeF/ InJ; linage2.air-nifty.com/gundam/2005/05/post_6084.htmlmight be just me, but the beam shield looks hot, and apparently the wings still split to 4. Babelfish the armanents, i dont feel like t/ling the thing when no one cares anyway.

Saw a scan from a magazine where freedom and impulse blast each other. Because kira fights to immobilize rather than destroy, it becomes a weakness wen shinn fights kira wit no regard for his own life or sumthin like tat. Neway as for strike freedom and infinite justice, my guess is tat lacus will prolly steal and deliver em to kira and athrun. She has the Eternal bak after all (originally made to transport freedom and justice)

What will happen to Freedom if the preview tells Kira is going to pilot Strike Freedom in the later part of the series?

Apparently the wings are going to house some Dragoon bits as well. I guess that's one excuse for leaving the wings in (which the MG manual stated was there to balance out the weight with the baraenas which've been taken out of the StFr)... Source
