Sorry, I don't intentionally make double post. But, Just to inform that there is another photo of the prototyped Strike Freedom in CR version from pam.main.jp/ (The left end at the 6th row after GFF Blue Destiny of 5th row). Hi, again, the following is a pic of the prototyped Strike Freedom taken from another angle: ( Note: originally taken from toycan.net/column/24.html)Please take a look at its arm joints, do you notice they seem to be different from the earlier conventional type as seen on other GFF or CR figures? Are they double joints? Assume it is, then we will have CR Strike Freedom with better articulation!

Wow! what a beauty! I actually don't expect to see the fully painted figure so soon. Anyway, thanks Mudrock. Sorry to say MiA, HG, 1/144 and 1/100 you all are disqualified in this beauty contest! The colour of the joints are better than I thought, nice indeed!

i it still looks like the CR Freedom, just up-graded.

Yeah, it looks like the up-graded Freedom. In Episode 42 of Seed Destiny, when Shin and other Zaft pilots see this mobile suit appearing in the sky, they were shocked and said "FREEDOM!" Obviously, the enemies recognised it as resurrected Freedom instead of another powerful mobile suit. Don't you find ok?

Part 1) Impulse, Freedom and Saviour Part 2) Strike Freedom, Destiny and Infinite Justice
Will you buy it?

Do you treat some of your favourite figures like that ie. buy two, one in MIB and another for playing as well?

i want to but in the end, i'm happey with one. example: i wanted to buy two mudrocks, one complete, the othe incomplete. but i just leave on it's stand in complete mode.
see, i would buy two. the one that looks the best or what ever stays in the box, the other, i'll display on it's stand or play with it.

Guys, have you ever thought why Strike Freedom is included as the third figure in the CR series? My guess is this: In order to minimise the design cost and to meet the production target of this year (say, at least three figures to be produced in CR line), Bandai found it easier to use the existing CAD drawing of CR Freedom and modify it into CR Strike Freedom (This is what we say, Effectiveness and Efficiency). If you take a look at the following pictures, you will notice that CR Strike Freedom shares quite a number of similarities of CR Freedom. Picture 1: CR Strike Freedom (orignally taken from Titans Test Team Forum: s7.invisionfree.com/Titans_Test_Team/index.php?showtopic=62 For more details about any other CR figures, please check out this Forum). Picture 2: CR FreedomIf you take a good look at the arm joints of the above two figures, you will notice they are different, arent' they? Strike Freedom's arms have double joints. there is a question bothering me quite a while, that is, why Bandai doesn't want to apply the design of MG joints on CR, GFF and Zeonography figures? Another interesting area to look at is the colour of the joints. We can clearly see the colour of the joints (ie. orange gold) on Strike Freedom is more acceptable than those (ie. terribly greenish gold!) of MiA Strike Freedom. And also, the orange gold colour looks more striking than the copper colour painted on Hyaku Shiki. An interesting questio to ponder: which colour would it be used for Akatsuki if it would be included in CR line in the near future, orange gold or copper? I truly like this version dragoon "wings" (EDIT: By the way, should I call them "wings"? Based on this design, we can see that the golden flame joints on the "wings" by right and technically speaking should be concealed beneath the wings, however, here are designed in the manner of being exposed to the air, therefore, I personally think they are presented as fin funnels (similarly to those stored behind RX-93) more than "wings". They don't intend to be the wings in fact. So, for this reason, some say it's meant not to be the upgraded Freedom but the brand new Freedom.) because the "wings" look more sophisticated and have more details eventhough they are relatively smaller than those of MiA, HG, 1/144 and 1/100. The size of the "wings" doesn't seem to have adverse effect to spoil the overall presentation of the figure. However, if the dragoon "wings" can be removeable or not, it is still a mistery. The rear design ( img13.imageshack.us/img13/1272/11245600345378ss9hs.jpg) of Strike Freedom looks prettty neat and stylish. I just wonder if the rail cannons can be smoothly moved round to the back without hestation of attaching or detaching them. I also like the improved design of the twin beam rifles. They don't look as bulky as other versions. Finally and again, it is said to be released at the end of October based on the information available in the picture above. Edit: I am glad that they did not design Strike Freedom's feet in horribly bulky version (ie. Kunio's version) rather maintain using CR Freedom's feet.
