That GM Striker is... interesting... to say the least.
I still think its too "SEED-ish" to be a UC mecha.

From what I've heard from Toysdaily, sounds like people didn't like the MG Crossbone as much, mainly due to the 'no polycap' joints for that kit (same with the previous MG F91). Since its hard ABS rubbing hard ABS, joints wear off much sooner after a little bit of posing and becomes loose. Also a lot of re-used parts from the MG F91 in the inner body frame. While the sculpt & great & the accessories are nice, the joints will be an issue. And the ABC cloak that came with that kit just sucks. Looks horrible. Wonder why they didn't just make a molded hard plastic piece to snap onto the figure. Or even better, just do what they did for the GFF 0031 Crossbone... The ABC cloak is such an important feature in the Crossbones, and Bandai didn't even bother. Also, boasting the MG F91 & Crossbone using 'new technology' without polycap sounds more of an excuse to cut cost on remolding slightly smaller polycaps to me, since the F91 & Crossbone are smaller in size compare to the other 1/100 MG. This could have been a great one... even look great without paint from photos I've seen.

Firstly, let it be known that this topic is for the discussion of Upcoming Kits, not a wishllist... As for the Stargazer itself, theres a few shots of it around YouTube.com, but from what I've seen, its a new kind of propulsion and transportation mechanism.

Re: upcoming MG Strike Freedom i wish this kit will not fall on the so-called 'new-tech polycap-less kits'. it will be a disgrace if Bandai allows this on bigger MG Kits. i'm just wondering what will be the 'special option parts' set? do you guys think it will be the 'blue effect' of the dragoons when launched? or clear yellow gold parts for an MG version of the 'light-up' gimik from the Real Detail 1/60 Lightning Edition of Strike Freedom? how cool is that? ;D

I'm pretty sure the MG Strike Freedom will use polycaps. Considering how similar it is to the original Freedom, Bandai will likely re-use or slightly modify a lot of the parts for this kit. It's unlikely that they would completely redesign the entire kit and make it "polycap-less".
